Stoped working in months.
Worked ok for first 4-5 spot welding. after 1 month one tried to spot weld. found not powering ON. Kept for charging for 3-4 hours but front Power LED not glowing. Internal battery is bulged. Battery seems Not good quality. Dead for now.

2 defekte Akkus, jeweils 1 Zelle von 10 defekt. Original Stahlverzinkter Verbinder vom Akkuhersteller funktioniert nicht, das beiliegende Ni Band geht einigermassen zu schweissen. Konnte alle 10 18650 Zellen des Akkus mit einer Ladung des Punktschweissers verbinden. Ersparnis: 70€. Arbeitszeit ~1h (habe das vorher noch nie gemacht, Anfänger).

I'll start off by saying this tool isn't exactly what I assumed it was when purchasing it. I had a few similar cheap units in my basket and I was deciding which to go with, and eventually picked this because if it's case and price. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it actually has a fairly large internal LiPo battery, as I was expecting to have to use a large power bank / pack externally to power it. I used it a bit and I will say while the power output isn't the strongest, it was just about enough to stick some nickel to some 18650 cells. As others have said here in reviews, it's not by any means for larger scale projects, it's for very small jobs like replacing some cells in something occasionally. I am not fully sure if the strength of the welds will hold up to long term exposure to vibrations and being thrown around in power tool batteries, but I'll replace cells in a Milwaukee battery soon and will use this for it, and see how it holds up. As seen in the images attached, I did a little bench test and it seems to hold these 2 cells fairly well, and made acceptable welds.

Looks like only good for 0.1 strips, didn't work with 0.12 nickel strips .
