Pricey, but you get what you pay for
I've had mixed results with 'compatible cartridges in the past, so I plumbed for the HP original high capacity toner. It arrived promptly, was recognised by my printer (Colour Laserjet Pro MFP M277dw) as a genuine HP cartridge and works fine and gives a nice even black. I'm pleased, but they could be cheaper. A complete set of 4 genuine HP toner cartridges is nearly £100 more than the printer cost to buy! And inkjet cartridges are even worse in terms of value for money.

HIgh quality and hassle free printing
I use HP spares as they are good quality, if rather expensive. As this doesn't need to be changed very often with reasonable use, it is very convenient and hassle free. Recommended.

Black spots on your print outs? Here's the answer.
Over time the fuser drum roll (the green one on the toner cartridge) can get pitted and take on imperfections. Replaced the out-of-the-box toner cartridge with this one today and the printer's back to normal. Easy installation, and free recycling programme to return the old toner cartridge. Couldn't ask for more.

I use these Toner cartridges with a 6-year-old printer and it's been doing 1 to 1.5 years of printing. The price is relatively high, but they do last long without loss of quality or problems.

Careful buying these if you're outside the market selling them - they are region locked. I had it sitting in a cupboard as a spare, and when I went to use it, it was outside of the return window, region locked to Europe and therefore useless to me in Australia.
