We bought Just Food For Dogs because it was recommended by our veterinarian. Our dog is 14 years old and is an extremely picky eater. She actually likes this food!! It’s all natural, has all healthy ingredients and is actually human grade! The price was extremely reasonable and it even arrived earlier than expected. Excellent sellers!!

I've been feeding my dog this food for about a year now, I used to get it from pet stores but tried the Amazon subscription option to save time and a little $. The last 2 batches we got from Amazon had these tiny little bugs/mites underneath the flaps of the cartons. The 2nd batch also appeared dry unlike how the food usually looks. I fed it to my dog anyway and she started having loose poops, that gradually became more and more watery, and got me up multiple times/night to take her out to have diarrhea. One of the times my husband took her out, she also suddenly became nauseous after pooping, and threw up 2x. I finally realized it might be the food, and threw out the last 4 boxes. I got a new carton direct from the JFFD website, and the food looks normal. I'm mixing it with rice and my dog is starting to feel better. I don't know if Amazon was not storing the food properly, or if it's a JFFD issue. Just wanted other to be aware. If the food looks questionable and/or has bugs on the boxes, don't feed it to your dog.

We have a big golden retriever and a small Yorkshire terrier and mix their kibble with canned food to keep them happy. We’ve been feeding them Beneful as their mix in for a long time, yet this new brand showed up on my feed so I thought I’d give it a try. It looks like “people food”, with carrots, beef, peas, & potatoes clearly visible in the mix. It smells good too. The dogs really like it, even the picky Yorkie. Since we don’t use a ton of wet food with each meal, it’s not as big a deal as it would be if we were trying to keep 90 pounds of dog (combined weight) alive on this, but each package in the variety pack will probably only cover 3-4 meals, and at $30 for the pack, it’s pretty pricey. It’s definitely quality dog food, but I don’t see us using this as our primary mix in. I’ll probably buy more as a special treat, but it won’t be our main brand.

This dog food was recommended by a friend who has minpins. I have a MinPin who is very tough feed. I couldn’t find a food that worked for his skin and his gut. Didn’t matter what kibble I tried or what other food I tried he got diarrhea. I tried vet diets, HA hydrolyzed foods everything! This food has literally changed his fur and has calmed his gut so much. It’s definitely expensive to feed this exclusively but it’s so worth it.

This is the only wet dog food my vet will recommend, based on veterinary science. My dog has changed since we've started feeding it to him about 2 years ago. While he was always eager for dinner, now when I open a package of this he starts whimpering and running circles around me, impatiently waiting for me to get it into the dish. It's hilarious. I rarely see him this excited. I still mix a couple of teaspoons of quality dry kibble in it, just so he gets some crunch and something to help prevent tartar buildup. My only concern is that he wolfs it down so quickly because he loves it so much. He totally licks his bowl clean. His coat is shiny and he has more energy than before. He's a member of the household so it feels good to make sure he is getting quality nutrition that he clearly loves. Could I get something cheaper? Sure, but why not give him something he looks forward to and enjoys for a little bit more. Not even close to the cost of feeding a human.
