This compact device is by far the most easy, simple and effective adapter to convert my old Wii. The connectivity is simple, only converter and one hdmi cable needed (3ft hdmi cable is included) replacing the red, white, yellow rca cords. Just connect adapter to console and hdmi cable to TV. The color and picture quality are quite good for an old console. Overall, I am satisfy with this converter. It revived my Wii and make it works again.

When it comes to older consoles there are all sorts of ways to retrofit them for modern flat panel displays. These Wii adapters have been around for a while and they all look the same and somewhat perform the same. Where they differ is quality of hardware. Portholic has been around for a while and they are the ones that I trust the most. Setup is simple. You just plug it into the back. Boot it up. Set it to 480p and widescreen and that's it. It cleans up the image alot with no hassle. These also have a pretty long life span. I have used 6 of these throughout the years and given them as gifts and out of those 6, 5 are still functional multiple years later. That's not something that you see too often. Aside from that there's nothing else to say. They work, they're high quality. That's about it.

Finally, an adapter that works!! And it was super easy to install. I tried two other adapters that were difficult to connect, had short cable lengths, and ultimately didn't work. This was connected easily and is super affordable.

Wir wollten nach ein paar Jahren mal wieder die Wii rausholen und die neuen Fernseher haben mittlerweile keinen passenden Anschluss mehr. Durch den Adapter läuft alles reibungslos. Bild ist kein HD aber typisches Wii Niveau.

Petit bémol : l’adaptateur peut parfois se déconnecter légèrement si on touche la console ou les câbles, donc il faut bien le stabiliser pour éviter les coupures. exelente adaptador hdmi para el Wii realmente me dejo sorprendido es mejor que los otros que comunmente se venden este adaptador realmente mejoro muy bien la imagen de todos los juegos de wii y de gamecube los rescala y mejora mucho mas que los otros adaptadores e incluso mas que el cable de componentes muchos aqui dcien que es casi igual que el componente pero no este si mejora mas y mejor la definicion de los juegos sin lugar a dudas el mejor adaptador hdmi que pueda aver para el wii este es el tercer adaptador que compro los otros dos eran el WII2HDMI fueron buenos esos dos pero este se las gano buen producto y ademas llego antes de lo previsto doy 5 estrellas por tan buen producto
