Drill 200 deep with a 10ml drill and holes 150mm apart . A 600 ml tube will cover approximately 1 metre. If there are any gaps in the mortar you may use more . **Q: Can this product be used lime mortar joints?** A: Absolutely not! As a Chartered professional I can confidently say that this product is at odds with lime mortar. Lime is meant to be a fully breathable natural product. My own property is circa 1697 and functions perfectly well without modern intervention. This product is silicone based designed to block pores to prevent moisture getting in, however it will prevent moisture getting out. It has limited uses, so I’d look for the source of water/moisture first before spending hard earned money on this. I had a moment of weakness and regretted it because I found the problem, I.e a blocked soakaway. I don’t want to do the company any injustice or the product. It will have a place somewhere in brickwork no doubt with cement based mortar. Hope this helps. **Q: Does this work on concrete?** A: Do not. Understand what you mean ??? This product runs and fills all the holes and soaks in .. I have used it in a Victorian which is made from stone and rubble And it works well.. have previously used silicone on a 350 yr old house with stone walls. And although it used quite a bit of silicone it eventually made an impermeable layer and no damp came through. .. **Q: Can you use this in cold conditions** A: I recall that as long as it is not likely to freeze then it should be ok.
