Under Armour Men's All Sport Performance Over-the-Calf Socks (1 Pair)

I got these for deadlifting after 20 years of probably lifting too heavy with slightly less than ideal form and dragging the bar on my shins.These socks give me coverage to just above the knee and fit properly for a size 10 for whichever size that matches. They are also very snug through the calf, but my calves are probably larger than average. It takes some getting used to, but for my application it is preferred to being loose. I would want a bit more room if I was running around a lot.Wonder if wonders putting on the socks magically improved my form. Maybe using overhand instead of mixed grip helped too. They haven't had to take the beating I anticipated, but they do hit where the knurling is on my bar and they are not torn up after a few weeks. I expect they will last longer than I expected.

Let me start off by saying I farm in Texas. I wear boots everyday. I have always had a problem finding socks long enough to go past the top of my boots and I hate pulling my socks up all day.These socks go past my knee by about 3 inches, I fold that down to just below my knee and that is where they stay ALL DAY LONG, I never have to touch them again until I take them off. When it's over 100 degrees and hotter in my boots these thing so amazing at helping wick the sweat.I've had socks that I have to peel off at the end of the day and they would make my feet stink and be sore from being wet all day. NOT these!!! They keep my feet dry and fresh!!! Love them! I have ordered 5 pair now.

Bought the XL socks and I wear men's shoes size 11. The length is not my issue, it's the width because my calves are 18". These socks are kinda hard to get past my calves right out the package. I have owned same socks and they do stretch out some and get a little easier to put on after some wear. The old ones I have still hold up the elasticity after 8 months of use with boots. Other materials and length socks get stretched out and fall down because of my calf size, but I have no problems with these. I will buy again.

CONS- i got the size XL and it goes over starting from the bottom of my knee to the top about 4-5 inches. i might get the small next time for i can get it over my calf.Quality- great. feels warm and comfy. you can also fold over calf if too long. wouldn't recommend for work boots or construction. I'm a firefighter and know these would be destroyed.Performance- mainly for working out and will last long.i would recommend size small for over the calf or any body size 6ft if you want it to be just over the calf

Exactly the socks I have been looking for. They come up just past my knee (I am 5'11" with size 12 feet) when fully stretched. Very comfortable and pleasant for the winter. I have washed these socks 10 times, and there is absolutely no sign of slippage.I also bought a pair of the very similar HeatGear Boot Socks by Under Armour. Basic differences are the Boot socks are a little thicker on the bottom and up through the calf, but thinner on top of the foot. For everyday, non-athletic use, I'd go with the Boot socks. The Performance socks I am reviewing here are slightly less comfortable for wearing to work, but better while playing ultimate.

Just bought these sock for power lifting. I do a lot of sumo squats and these socks help protect my legs. The bottom of the sock has added cushion, and they stop right bellow the knee. they are breathable and my feet do not sweat alot. they fit just right i bought the medium and i own a lot of under armor socks so i was not worried about the fit. if you are not sure about what size to buy you may want to buy some at a store and then order them these socks are alot cheaper here on amazon vs in store.

I got these as I was scraping my shins while trying to master the deadlift. They do their job very well and the sole part of the sock is well cushioned providing more comfort. I was also pleased to find that the place where the toes meet the sock are well done so that you do not feel the uncomfortable edge poking you while working out. They also wick sweat very well, keeping my feet feeling fresh.A good buy though I would not mind it being a couple of dollars cheaper.

A bit longer than other baseball/softball socks I've purchased. Good material, not too thick or thin. Wish the gray parts were the same color as the rest of the sock because when low-top cleats are on, you can see the top of the dark gray sole of the sock that starts at the toe, is along the bottom of the foot of the sock and then goes up the back of your heel quite high, so that you can see it for a few inches along the back of your ankle above the shoe.
