Q: Does it auto pause and auto resume when the connection is interrupted by a simultaneously connected phone?

If pause is pressed on any the Bluetooth devices it will pause.

Q: Will this connect to xbox elite 2 controller and samsung galaxy ear buds

I can't answer about the individual device but what I will say that I have connected it to at least 6 different devices/All 3 JBL speakers Samsung TVs with no problems It is a very good and is able to pair with 2 devices at a time

In my house it will nicely drive to headphones at the other side of a room 5m 6m. It keeps going a bit more as you leave the room with headphones on. It pairs easily because it has an LCD display.
