Brooks Ghost 15 is a lighter model than the previous version. This revised version has a slightly higher arch and fits perfectly with a variety of runners with neutral horse.

The BEST of the BEST.... PERIOD!!!!!! 🏆👏🏾
The price for these sneakers may be costly but these sneakers are worth it! I've tried many sneakers from Altra, Mizuno, Ryka to compare against this Brooks brand and they have won with flying colors!!!!There aren't any better sneakers with as much arch support as these Brooks Ghost 13 sneakers have! You literally feel like you are bouncing when you walk without feeling like you're seeping into your shoe with every step. When you put on these sneakers it makes you want to work out (which is a plus for someone who dislikes exercise). It provides so much support for your calves and knees, which is a MUST for me.The outsole is actually wide enough for my normal width feet. It is not too narrow or too wide, like how some Men sizes can be. It has a full rubber sole so you have the traction you need even for wet rainy days. This is an all-season sneaker with enough support for all seasons without being too hot or cold. The design is very sleek and would look nice even on casual days out.I would definitely size up (at least a half size, although I did a full size) in any sneakers from the Brooks brand. I've tried three different style sneakers (Transmit 2, the Launch 5, and the Ghost 13) and I had to size up for all of them. Since there is so much support and cushion, I would allow a little extra wiggle room for larger feet. These are literally my favorite sneakers now and I'm glad I took the plunge (I never pay this much for sneakers LOL). I would highly recommend these sneakers from Brooks in the Ghost 13. For these other sneaker styles, the Launch 5 would be 2nd but nothing beats these Ghost 13. I encourage you to try these if you've tried all the other brands that haven't worked out thus far. In the past, I've tried all the popular brands including Nike and nothing compares to these (No, I'm not getting paid to say this LOL). I hope this review helps :)

Oh my gosh!!
I am 49yrs old, 6'4", 330# w/ 14w feet - so a big guy for sure. I have very high arches and resultantly achy feet. I have been searching my entire life to find comfortable shoes that actually fit my feet. The search was recently renewed upon a visit to the pediatrist who after an x-ray said, "wow, that's the biggest bone spur I have ever seen". That statement does not lift your spirits at all. So he gave me a cortisone shot (which was painful but awesome) and an arch support to wear. The arch support was okay, but still pain after long days.So back to the shoe review. I spent many hours searching for "high arch shoe" reviews on youtube. Several brands came up, but Brooks Ghost 13 just seemed to keep coming back to me. So the Amazon reviews were good and I decided to try it out. Came in within a couple days. Stuck them on the first time and it was "oh my" they fit and feel great! It was like stepping into a cloud. Next day at work was very active - probably 5hrs of straight walking and standing without a break. Then it dawned on me that my feet did not hurt. This was like first time with no pain in years - literally. I have had them going on a week now and I actually find myself wanting to run and I have no idea why. Must be the pedigree of the shoes. Time will tell how they hold up, but for now life is good again.Pros:The foot beds are wide for my oversized feet! The insole material is very nice and padded but still supportive - perfect combo! The high arch support actually supports my big arch. The padded heel cup lands your heel perfectly and softly. The outer mesh is very breathable and cool - great for summer.Cons:The tongue material is very soft and limber which makes it more difficult to slip on - which is my normal way. Now must tie them daily - which I should do anyway - I guess. No pull tab at heel to pull them on.Mesh outers - I suspect they will snag and tear easily - not confirmed but suspected.Breathable mesh outers - may be cold on feet in winter - again a suspicion not confirmed.

Comfortable, solid support, attractive style
I was looking forward to receiving my Brooks Ghost 13 shoes which are repacking my old Ghost12. The description said they had more cushion and they do yet without loosing the solid support of my Ghost12. The toe has a comfortable width so my toes aren’t squished. And the lovely neutral color (black, hushed violet. I don’t like violet but these are a soft almost rose color) makes them an attractive shoe. I almost don’t want to get them dirty walking! I injured my left ankle twice and I have fibromyalgia which also causes muscle tightness resulting in pain. I need a supportive shoe with some cushion. It’s also flexible enough and lightweight so that they don’t feel clumsy. My previous shoes were size 8.5 and I decided to go up to a 9 to give a little more space especially because I add inserts. These are perfect. Usually adding the 1/2 size made me trip but the 8.5 was not quite right. They are true to the medium fit along the arch but I think they might feel tight for someone with a slightly wider foot so may want to try wide or a bigger size. The toe area, however, gives plenty of room.

exactly whhat I wanted
I don't run but walk frequently. My walking shoes were not meeting my expectations and I looked up the best running shoe. Brooks won. I bought the Ghost 13 instead of the newer 14 because they were on sale in my size and I wanted to try them out before committing any more money. I also took the advice of a previous reviewer (thank you) who wore a size 10 Narrow shoe like me but recommended getting a 10 1/2 in Brooks. I did and it was perfect. The foot bed is just right for my narrow feet while the toe box is wide and not smushing my toes. The rise at the ankle is low and does not rub anywhere. I thought at first the heel may not be narrow enough but it is fine while walking. I also like that the shoelace grommets are set wide apart so that the laces can really be pulled tight. So many "Narrow" athletic shoes don't do this. I am very pleased and look forward to Brooks being my go to athletic shoe.
