Great item. I use this item frequently for field notes and it has preform well, even in the rain. Hold my pens and business cards as well.

This is a great little zipper FN pouch. I tuck my PP away behind the left-hand side and managed to find a LH FN book to shove in there as well. Everything works great and I've been impressed with its overall durability. The material feels much like other decently made folders and the stitching is done well. The zippers all pull and tuck away nicely and the front pouch is well bound so I can get a pen in there comfortably. I have two FN books a pen and my PP all zipped up in the photo shown, it all tucks nicely and feels good in the pocket. I would 100% recommend these to others needing a good PP or FN zippered wallet, and would buy one again if needed.

I needed a cover that would hold 2 Moleskine Cashier Journals, one lined and one graph, along with a few business cards of associates I meet in the week. Also, on occasion a thumb drive or two. This cover does that easily. On the exterior I usually keep a spare pen and highlighter. Also, a great place to keep a business card to quickly give to someone. It doesn't easily fit into a back pocket, but it's possible. Easily fits in a jacket pocket. I like it. The zipped enclosure keeps notes neat and if left unattended at work it is very obviously a private notebook.

It's not that big of a deal, but I thought it was gray. The picture isn't a good representation that this is properly black. I bought a green one a couple years ago, and saw this one regretting not buying what I thought was gray, so I just saved for later. It went on sale, finally bought it, and it's not what I expected lol. No big deal though, it'll function just fine. It's almost identical to the other one I have. Interior pockets are just about the same, size is about the same, exterior pockets about the same. It's nice

I carry like Field Notes all the time. I carry many EDC items. I'm also vegan, so I don't want leather. And this notebook cover checks all my boxes. Carries Field Notes, a pen or two, room for another tool or so, and another pocket inside for business cards or whatever. Very handy, zips up, well made, and secure. Def part of my EDC now!

I thought I was ordering gray since the pictures are gray, and only after I get it do I notice at the very end of the description it say its black... I like the idea of a field journal that is pocket sized with a zipper, but this is oddly rectangular compared to the size of a pocket journal.. Zippers are very nice and smooth, but it's just weirdly rectangular... Personally, besides not getting the color I was looking for, it's just kinda big for a pocket journal so I'll probably be returning; but if it were gray like the pictures showed I probably woulda kept it... (1st picture is size comparison-- a pocket journal, followed by this black journal, followed by an a5 sized journal. The a5 is my favorite size, but I was looking for something more the size of a passport holder to hide it on my person easier..)

I’m one of those people who carry around a little blank notebook with them everywhere. They’re great for notes, reminders, ideas and little sketches. I had a travel notebook style to hold them at first but was annoyed with how it would shift and things would get damaged or fall out. Now I have this and it’s not leather (plus to me) and has a wrap around zipper. I have a notebook in the back pocket and a pen in the front. Inside I have my license and various cards and I used the old travel notebook bands to hook a couple of notebooks together and slid the back cover in the right. It’s like my wallet and notebooks all in one convenient setup I can throw into any bag or hoodie pocket and have everything I need right there. I think it should last awhile to. If you like all of your field notes and cards etc together give it a try. It’s cheaper than some of the brand name ones and seems to be working like a charm so far.

Fits in my back pocket. Keeps my thoughts until I can create the task. Field note size notebooks work great inside. Several pockets for usb drives or small cables. Outside has a pocket on both sides for pens/pencils or cards…
