I absolutely love this lift. I can take off or put on my top easily by myself in five minutes or less! I found this lift from a review in a wrangler forum by a member who tested all of them. This one won due to the ease of use, great design, but most importantly solid stability. I almost bought one of the other lifts that look like a hand, but they rocked with your top on and they slid around the “fingers” with no way to hold it still and centered. Stability, quick use, and ease of storing was more important than easy set up. The other lifts have an internal rope for lifting and if it breaks, repairing it is a nightmare if you pull it off. This one has a strap that is very strong and will not break or fray. This lift took me about an hour to put together, but after doing so, I could do it in 30mins if I had to do it again. This lift looks basic, but it is quite clever. The upper front arm slides forward. Once you bring it into the top to take off, you raise it nearly to the roof and slide the front arm forward over the roll bar which gives it incredible stability to lift it up. Once it is off the jeep, there are two more straps to lock it down. It does not move at all after this. I could push it and it would not move an inch. After that, I can easily roll it of the jeep and into my garage. The wheels are quality so it rolls well. If I want to, I can park my jeep under it in the garage to give me more room. This was some of the best money that I have spent for a Jeep “mod”. On top of this the manufacturer makes some cool stuff. A table that mounts on the inside of you tailgate and folds down and a “trunk” that folds flat when you need to put something big in the back of your jeep or raise us to provide a sturdy and very secure “trunk” to keep you stuff from being stolen when you ride with the top off. EZ4X4 has impressed the heck out of me with these three items. I hope that they continue to innovate!

First of all, the lift came well packaged. Assembly was not difficult at all. I followed the step-by-step video, and it was easy and straightforward. The lift itself is heavy-duty. I've only had it for one day, but I am not concerned about durability. It is made of heavy-duty steel parts welded together and powder-coated. There is not a lot that can go wrong here. I've tried other more popular brands, like the green one and the other "rolling jack" one. I did not like both and ended up selling them on marketplace. They were taking up too much space in my small garage, and neither could handle the additional weight of my rooftop rack and traction boards. The green one would wobble and I did not trust it. The "rolling jack" one could not lift my top because of the extra weight. This lift handles everything like a breeze. It is very sturdy. Once the top is on, it is not going anywhere. I feel like I could sit on top (I'm 170lbs), and it would still hold everything very well. I also like how it folds when it is not being used, and I could easily store it in the garage. I highly recommend this lift. If you haven't tried the others, skip them. If you have the others and are not happy with them, get this one.

To start, I will say that after assembly, this is easy to use and appears quite sturdy. The assembly was not difficult, but the directions are lacking and could definitely be improved upon. The pdf and the video on the website are for an older version that is quite different.

This is a must have for Bronco hard top owners. This thing works like a charm. I had put off taking off the back part because it was difficult to remove and store. This changed everything. The lift slides right under the top and cranks the top up and out of the way. I’m able to park under it (backed in or pulled in forward) which means it doesn’t occupy a spot in the garage. It’s not cheap, but it’s very sturdy, extremely easy to use, and will save a ton of time removing the hard top.

Takes a while to assemble and the instructions are not clear. Works fantastic once it’s assembled. Easy to maneuver and folds up for storage when not in use. Would highly recommend it for the cost.

The lift is well made works great. All the parts packaged with care. Easy to assemble. As advertised one person can remove hardtop with ease. The only issue was in shipping. Package comes together 1of 2 boxes but for some reason was shipped 2 a day apart had to cancel second package.

This lift is amazing! I got it for my 2011 Wrangler JKU (4 door) so I can take the top on and off by myself without help. It arrived 2 days early via UPS. It comes in 2 boxes and heavy! I was very impressed with how securely each of the pieces were wrapped. It was a bear to put together, just because there are so many parts. It helps to lay everything out and get it organized before you start. I tried first using only the written instruction, but ended up referring to the install video as well and that made all the difference! It helped to clear up any confusing areas in the written instructions. Once assembled, I was a little nervous removing the top by myself for the first time, in case something went awry and I'm home alone. Lol. But it was freakishly easy! The lift did all the work and I never once felt like it wasn't stable. It is VERY heavy duty! There are 2 straps in the back that attach to the hard top so it doesn't tip forward. Plus the wheels roll smooth as butter! If you like being independent and doing everything yourself with no help, like me, I highly recommend this lift!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
