How easy or difficult is the lid to remove?

Once you know the trick of its design, it's super easy. Let's start with putting the lid on, as follows. Place the lid on the rim of the pitcher. Don't worry about its being airtight yet, just set it there gently so it touches the rim evenly on all sides. If it feels too big or too small, twist the inner part of the lid while you hold the outer edge firmly in place. You can adjust it to be airtight. To get the lid off, hold the edge of the lid and gently twist the inner part the other way. Don't use force and don't worry about remembering which way tightens or loosens: it will be evident, you'll feel it. That's it.
