Review: Ideal for a family fish course (no not the gold-fish!) - This fish kettle is the ideal size to cook a whole fish for a family, it fits the standard domestic stove top. I use it on a an induction hob (flat glass top) and it works very well. If there is a down side it is this the metal of the base is quite thin which MAY over time warp a little but to get one with a thick copper sandwiched base you will have to pay a lot more so if you only cook whole fish occasionally this is for you. Dependent on size of fish steak it will take 6-8 steaks comfortably. I'd recommend it. If your spouse/partner is a budding chef this would make a nice gift.

This fish kettle is the ideal size to cook a whole fish for a family, it fits the standard domestic stove top. I use it on a an induction hob (flat glass top) and it works very well. If there is a down side it is this the metal of the base is quite thin which MAY over time warp a little but to get one with a thick copper sandwiched base you will have to pay a lot more so if you only cook whole fish occasionally this is for you. Dependent on size of fish steak it will take 6-8 steaks comfortably. I'd recommend it. If your spouse/partner is a budding chef this would make a nice gift.
