I originally bought this in the adult size and have used / loved it for years now... however, I travel quite often for diving and the adult size takes up soooooo much space in my luggage (besides looking just ridiculously large on me). So I bought the 'teen' size to try out. For reference, I'm 5'5" and about 120 lbs. It just arrived, so I haven't used it yet, BUT it does feel/look exactly the same as the adult one (except smaller, obviously). It comes down to my knees and is roomy enough to change inside. My experience so far (with the adult one) - it is definitely microfiber (although it looks more like a normal towel), in that it has that 'sticky' feeling but does indeed get you dry. Also, it dries very quickly - I used it on a dive trip where we were diving 3 times a day, and after each dive it was already completely dry/warm. Love this poncho!

I grabbed an adult and a kid-sized robe for a recent indoor water park trip and couldn’t be happier. The material was fine for two us-soft and absorbent-but my wife declined one due to material sensory issues. If you don’t like the “sticky” or “catchy” feel of microfiber, then opt for an all-cotton robe instead. I did notice that the material caught on my dry fingertips a bit, but my kiddo and I were really comfy and dry all weekend long. Highly recommend for cooler swimming contexts. Might be too hot for the beach.

So great for taking to swim lessons. The instructors even commented on how cool it is. The blue is more of a bright blue, rather than the muted that is shown. It’s holding up well in the wash. Only complaint is that it holds dirt and grass like velcro! But I think that’s just the nature of the material.

This is a must have if you have a kid who hates to be wet while in a car or walking home. It washes really well and I have washed it daily for at least 1 month.It is large enough that it covers everything. Great quality thick and cozy. Looks really cute on the littles and durable as this has been through the pool ringer for the past 2 months.

I read so many reviews and went back and forth between a few options when purchasing for my kids. I wanted something big and baggy enough to change them at the beach while still covering them. It does that, and is one of the cheaper options. However, it doesn’t absorb water very well. It is thick, but it has the feeling of a microfiber cleaning towel which I hate the feeling. I saw mixed reviews of people describing the feel and now I understand because some people like that material and some people hate it.
