Packaging for this Mountain House meal is just the same as all their other meals extremely rugged and well made. There is absolutely no spice heatwise to this meal but it definitely is extremely tasty. It has a great level of all around nutrients and is very easy and fast to make in under 10 minutes. The noodles were firm yet thoroughly cooked. The sauce was creamy and flavorful in the chicken tasted like it was just prepared prior to dropping into the fettuccine alfredo sauce. There were plenty of pieces of chicken of substantial size in this meal as well. All in all the wife and I both enjoyed it thoroughly and it was a great meal had under the trees in the grass sitting at a picnic table enjoying the outdoors.

I've bought probably 50 of these in the last few years. They say two servings, but if you're hiking or doing a lot of camp chores you may be a little hungry after having one. I carry a can of chicken breast with these and add the chicken and broth before I add the hot water. Huge difference in the taste and I'm not left feeling hungry.

I wanted to keep this for a future emergency but I was just so tempted to open it and give it a try. This was so delicious, I kid you not. It tasted just as good as a home-cooked meal, if not better. I'm going to stock up on several of these from this brand. I also tried the beef one and that was amazing! It's so crazy how something in a bag like this would taste so great just by adding hot water to it. This company's foods are very well seasoned.

I’ve been looking to try something like this for a long time and I’m glad I picked up Mountain houses Fettuccine chicken Alfredo. I’d say these are definitely worth checking out. If you’re curious about a more roughing it outdoor trip or have always been curious to try something more civilian compared to an MRE. Super simple to cook up. Just boil the water mix wait a few minutes Mix again and you’re good to go. Admittedly, I might have added too much water when I cooked mine, but this did not affect the flavor. I just didn’t bring with me the best measurement tools. However, I would put the fettuccine Alfredo at a pretty good taste certainly not restaurant quality but for out in the woods backpacking this is great! Definitely a good amount of portions Really fills you up. Some nice, good pieces of chicken and noodles and for my first time, having one of these, I’d say it’s pretty worth giving it a try. If you’re brave enough to try a freeze dried meal. I’d say great product for the value and the fettuccine chicken Alfredo was a good one to try if you’re looking at mountain house meals. Textures about what you’d expect for fettuccine Alfredo and I just be concerned about the right water mixture, but it didn’t offset the flavor at all. Pretty impressive for a little freeze dried pouch. Easy to get cooked up and great for a solo Backpacking trip would easily recommend. Just add bowling water and stir snd enjoy.
