This is my first set of Ohuhu markers. I was afraid to purchase since some reviewers complained about the smell and headache. I have asthma and fragrance allergies and these were no problem at all. (Some of y'all didn’t whiff Prisma markers back in the day. Ha ha). That aside: wowza! Gorgeous juicy color. And the packaging, design of the markers, and the swatch inserts are peak customer experience. I am now addicted to this brand. I. Need. More.

Dries quickly, doesn’t smudge. The wide grip of the four markers, in my opinion, is extremely handy annd comfortable and the colors that they give you are unique—it’s not just blue, blue, blue, and blue.

I have been creating art for over 45 years. In all that time, I have never come across a better made marker that Ohuhu. Yes, there are a few times when there may be something wrong, such as a dry marker, but I have never had a product that let me down now and then. Overall, I cannot see myself using other markers again.

Great alternative to copic markers and they work so well!

The pros: 1.) big design is clever, see attached pictures 2.) Colors are accurate to pen caps - bcz you make your own labels! 3.) Colors/ink/pigment are normal great consistency we've come to expect from Ohuhu 4.) Nibs are good quality The cons: 1.) I don't think these caps stack, but for the design of these pens, that is not a big negative 2.) The caps are kind of hard to get off. They are smooth with the barrel, so no ridges or anything to grip to use as leverage. If you have weak hands or just sore on some random day, you might struggle with these. They felt a little easier the more I took the caps on/off, so maybe a happy medium will arrive with usage. 3.) As you are dragging the pen, you need to keep even consistency in pressure and speed, otherwise you get the equivalent of hesitation marks in your ink laydown. These are where the pen nib stayed on one spot microseconds longer than other spots, but show up as a vertical line. You can see some of them in my attached photos. I saw another reviewer mention that if your paper has any texture to it, this could cause this problem and they suggested ultra smooth paper. Those suggestions could be true, but I would suggest the speed at which you drag the pen is also key. I don't dislike these pens, but I am also not in love with a pen that has the equivalence of high-maintenance to utilize. I do love the idea of the big fat nib to lay down a lot of color, such as the beginning of a drawing where I will use colored pencils over the top. I think the Halcyon set has great colors for that type of sky, water, terrain usage.

They were a little better than I thought they were going to be.

These are extremely good. I just wish more color options were available. I have used it for my lettering art. Using it for gothic lettering.

Mir gefällt als erstes mal das man die Aufkleber draufmacht nach dem colorieren so hat man die exakte Farbe vor Augen. Sie sind für mich im Moment für Hintergründe interessant aber kann mir auch komplexere Dinge damit vorstellen.

Packaging is very cool, the markers are soft, muted, sea/sky colors. They dry and give a smooth finish. The tip is very wide so it's good for calligraphy or broad strokes. Haven't seen anything similar on the market so they're worth it.
