I LOVE Lemberg but...
I LOVE Lemberg, their salmon caviar is supreme. I've been buying it for years (in Germany). On the basis of this unblemished reputation, I've decided to treat my Mum, on Mother's Day, to something really special. In my experience, Oscietra is the most brilliant stuff. Better than Beluga etc. Sadly, not in this case. The grains were squishy, instead of popping and crisp. The taste I can only describe as AVERAGE - not bad but very bland :( For the quality I've received, it was MUCH overpriced. I am sorry to report this. BTW, I bought a 50g tin in the UK.

An absolute delight to open and eat some wonderful caviar. It was a very pleasant treat to find a caviar from the old days. I will be buying again soon.
