Big fan of Trend cutters
Although I tend to use the silver “pro” Trend cutters more often, I do still get the green “craft” ones now and again for lighter use and for the money they are spot on. Sharp and durable they give a nice finish even on hard maple and oak boards. There are loads of Chinese “cheap cutters” out there, and I have bought a few, but they never last and in some cases are questionably safe. Trend are reputable and trusted for a reason, they make good gear.

Probably the best but at the top price
This is the good made by the big name and at the appropriate price. I thought it was slightly better than the cheap ones but only slightly.

Nice clean cut
I have only used one of the two but can say the cut is as what would be expected and Trend lives up to the quality you would expect Totally recommended

Good
I was a little hesitant buying this as it's a bit cheap. However, I needed to face off the front edge of a 1.5 m long, 40 mm thick walnut worktop and did not have a long enough bit to do it in one pass. I'd already tried doing it in multiple passes using a shorter bit but ended up with a line where the passes overlapped so with nothing to lose I thought I'd give this a go. I had a few mm of material to remove to get rid of the marks left by previous failed attempts but doing a few light passes gave me a very nice finish. All I had to do to finish it up was give it a light sand with some finishing paper to take off the sharp edges and then a few coats of Osmo Topoil. Very good value for money!

Keep a good edge for what I use them for
I buy lots of these and they work really well. I cut worktop joints in kitchens so bin them after almost just one use so the price is important to me. have tried cheap ones and more expensive that can loose their edge through a cut causing me issues but these don’t. They produce a good clean cut and don’t seems to suffer with any dulling or burning. I will keep buying them

Okay for Light Use, but Wears Fast
Fits well and cuts cleanly at first, but durability was disappointing. Burned out after a few passes on worktops. Expected more from a Trend product might try a cheaper alternative next time.
