Vitamin C Serum for Face 20% with Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin E, 1 fl. oz.

I'm a person with "mature" skin. I'd been reading a lot about the topical benefits of vitamin C, but never knew which one to get. I came upon Amara Organics Vitamin C Serum after much research and I am so very happy with this product. I have only been using it a short while, but so far I am extremely pleased. Plus, hyaluronic acid for hydration is a great addition to this serum. I've also been using the Amara face moisturizer after applying the Vitamin C. This vitamin C is cruelty free, which is a must with any product I buy. It is also a very good strength, percentage wise. Going by the reviews I read before ordering, I was so happy that there is no strong or unpleasant scent involved. A few drops is all it takes to cover my entire face and neck and it dries quickly. I didn't know what to expect, but was quite excited to see that, in conjunction with my other anti-aging products (most likely the retinol I use), it helps the top layer of my skin peel (this doesn't happen immediately - it can take a few days). I could actually use tweezers to gently lift off areas of that top layer of skin that I so badly want to exfoliate! Please note that this doesn't hurt at all. It's not like taking off a scab. It just helps remove that top layer, revealing the new, fresh skin below. I can only speak to my experience, of course, but I highly recommend this vitamin C!! If your skin is not new to exfoliating products, the 20% is perfect. If you are just starting out, I'd say to start with a lower percentage. Amara Organics Vitamin C Serum for Face is a wonderful product! It also contains vitamin E and hyaluronic acid. (Vitamins C and E need each other - and they are GREAT for your skin!) I have tried to purchase this combination of vitamins in other products in the past; however, the vitamins were always oxidized and I had little faith in their effectiveness under those circumstances. Amara Organics Vitamin C Serum arrived fresh, potent, and definitely not oxidized. I tend to be allergic to everything - but I have no problem using this product. I can see it is making a difference already! My face feels a little bit "tight" after I put it on... not unpleasant, but just there. Just to be sure it was working, I put some on the back of one hand tonight. Within a half hour I could see a dramatic difference even sitting in a darkened room. When I looked at it under a bright light, the skin on the hand with Vitamin C Serum appeared tighter, healthier, and had a lovely radiance to it. I had planned to put my usual hand cream on and see what it did overnight, but I am already excited with these quick results. I am going to give this product a serious try and see if I can turn the clock back a little. I feel the price is fair given the quality of the product - I am so glad it is organic. Sadly, I am on a very strict budget, so I may not always be able to get this product (boo hoo). But I have some for now! I needed some customer service for a minor issue and the customer service is the very BEST. The product arrived within one or two days - although I bought it during the busy holiday season. Thank you for making this excellent organic product! I'm going to see what else you have now! I highly recommend this product.

Update: 04/30/15 Changed from 5 stars to 4. Purchased and used up my second bottle and I can't say that I've continued to see you the same results. My skin didn't seem as "bright" as before when I was on the first bottle and I'm no longer noticing any fading of old acne scars, but maybe I'm expecting too much. Anyways, I decided to try a different brand (insta natural) with more vitamins and natural oils for more "anti-aging" benefits. I don't have wrinkles, just wanted to prevent . Big mistake! My skin felt awful with the other product and I began breaking out. With the insta natural brand my makeup caked up and smeared and I looked like a greaseball, even without makeup I looked greasy. My previous review I stated that I thought this brand (Amara Organics) made me break out at first but that it had gotten better. I couldn't give the other brand the chance that I had given this brand because my face felt too oily and itchy. I'm coming back to this product (Amara) since it worked well with my skin type, but I'll probably continue to look for something that might be better. Old review: My skin needed some serious help. I have oily, acne-prone skin and large pores. The hormones from having kids made me look like I had the skin of a teenager again...and the scars it left behind!! I was so embarrassed. I didn't want to spend hundreds on more peels and laser treatments at the spa and I remember a friend raving about vitamin C for skin care. After looking on Amazon for a while, this seemed to be the best rated so I figured I'd give it a try. Honestly, at first I was disappointed. I thought it was making me break out again so I quit using it after only a few uses. I'm not sure what really caused the breakouts but I decided to give this another chance after I had the breakouts under control. I'm so happy I did. I can't say that I saw any immediate results, but after a couple weeks I noticed that my skin looked brighter and my pores appear much smaller. I also notice that my skin feels less oily throughout the day (I used to have to blot my face every few hours and now it's very rare that I have to) and I'm not breaking out at all. I'm noticing that some acne scars are becoming lighter too. I use this under my makeup during the day and at night I use a retinol cream (but I've been using the retinol for a while and have only noticed results after adding this serum). The company sends an email with instructions and does advise that this serum is thinner and a little goes a long way. It also recommends to use it during the day, especially if you use a retinol at night. This is probably one of my best skin care purchases in a long time. I just ordered a second bottle and I'm sure I'll continue to order it as long as they make it.

I DID NOT RECEIVE A DISCOUNT FOR THIS REVIEW. THIS IS TOTALLY UNBIASED. Frankly, this is an amazing product. I never knew I could find something this good for this price. My skin has always been rather oily, acne prone, blotchy/uneven toned and with enlarged pores. After 3 weeks, my skin is brighter/lighter and more even toned, softer and well moisturised, with less wrinkles and tighter pores. If you've just started, please stay the course. This stuff actually does what it says it will! I've been using it in conjunction with the Vitamin C Face & Body Lotion of the same range (equally a 5-star product) and I feel like a traveller who's finally home! A super well done to Amara. I hope you never change this formula.

Habe das Serum vor einigen Wochen bestellt und kann jetzt endlich meine Bewertung abgeben! Ich bin begeistert, das Serum wirkt gegen Fältchen, macht die Haut wunderbar feinporig und nach längerer Anwendung erscheint mein Hautbild insgesamt frischer, feiner und auch aufgehellt! Jetzt nach meinem 2 wöchigen Sommerurlaub ohne mein geliebtes Vitamin C Serum hatte ich an zwei Stellen im Gesicht grössere bräunliche Pigmentflecken, wieder zu Hause, habe ich mein geliebtes Serum sofort wieder angewendet (2 Tropfen mit der Pipette reicht für das ganze Gesicht) und siehe da, die Pigmentverfärbungen waren nach 3 Tagen fast wieder verschwunden, perfekt! Ich bin mit dem Kauf des Serums sehr zufrieden, habe mich deshalb auch für dieses entschieden, weil es wirklich nur natürliche Inhaltsstoffe ohne Which Hazel und sonstiger künstlicher Zusatzstoffe enthält. Es brennt bei der Anwendung nicht und meine Haut fühlt sich jedesmal sehr erfrischt danach an, das Serum zieht rasch ein! Ich wende das Serum hauptsächlich morgens an, erst dieses Vitamin C Serum, dann ein anderes Serum, dann Sonnenschutzcreme LSF30 und der Tag kann beginnen! Wenn ich mein Gesicht einmal die Woche abends mit einem Dermaroller bearbeite, verwende ich das Vitamin C anschließend sehr gerne, weil die Haut es dann so schön aufnimmt nach dem Needling. Die Reihenfolge bei mir abends: erst Needling mit dem Dermaroller, dann Vitamin C, dann ein anderes feuchtigkeitsspendendes Serum und anschließend eine Feuchtigkeitscreme oder abwechselnd das Gesichtsöl von Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil, das alle Fältchen, falls noch vorhanden, glattbügelt :-) Ich bin vom Serum sehr überzeugt und kann es weiterempfehlen, ich werde es mit Sicherheit wieder nachbestellen!

E' un siero molto liquido non è oleoso. Forse può andare meglio per il periodo estivo. Io l'ho ordinato in inverno e non nutre molto la pelle ma con una buona crema sopra va bene.

Una de las cosas que más me preocupaban es que fuese una imitación o algo así, tengo que decir que es original, con su caja, su precinto y todo bien empaquetado. El producto es de gran calidad. La primera vez que te lo echas notas más luminosidad y con los días ves que la cara está más hidratada, más tersa, con mejor aspecto...no se como explicarlo pero se nota diferencia en la calidad de la piel desde que me lo echo. Cuando se me acabe pienso volver a comprar otro.

Le paradis pour votre peau en bouteille! Peau lisse, douce, nette, unifié... tout ce qu'on peut rêver et esperer d'un serum. Un vrai soin concentré qui marche. Resultats constaté au bout d'une semaine... c'est dire. Je recommande à 200%. De plus rien de chimique à l'interieur et à un prix raisonnable pour une bonne quantité! Bon rapport qualité/prix!
