I recently purchased this to help realign, or at least prevent worsening of a prolapsed big toe joint (sticks out like a bunion but toe doesn’t cross). Very comfortable to wear around the house and even at night. The articulation stays in place and at least for a while after wearing my toe is straighter, I’m hopeful with longer use this might become more permanent but even if it stops thing getting worse it will be worth it. Good product for the price. I don’t think it would be possible to put shoes over it or comfortably walk, other than pottering about the home, while wearing it but for me that’s not an issue.

These are very uncomfortable and I don't feel they actually do anything

Putting it on this morning, the plastic just snapped. This item replaced a very similar (but clearly better quality) device that I had for at least a decade, and the only reason I replaced that is that it got grungy (and washing it did not help any more). Clearly the plastic used for this is not adequate because it needs to be able to withstand some pressure or tension in the closure. I’d like the manufacturer to get in touch with me to resolve this issue.

This is very comfortable to wear around the house. I would not be able to wear it when wearing my outdoor shoes. I have been using this for about two weeks now. Not sure if it has made very much difference yet. My foot doesn't seem to ache as much though when I am wearing this and the toe next to my big toe doesn't seem to be crossing as much into the next toe as it was. This may just be my imagination, but I do not have any negative comments to make about this item.

Certainly did! Been so disappointed in the various other products have ordered. This little splint is so well thought out and designed. Comfortable to wear and keeps the bunion well protected and pain free when walking.

I was dubious based on the price and reviews but it works perfectly. Fits as it should and stays. Much better than a splint I bought for 4 x the price which doesn’t actually separate the toe and caused more pain!
