Nuts About Soap Eco Laundry Liquid

I heard about soap nuts before and decided it is time to give a try to an alternative to the commercial laundry detergents out there. Don't get me wrong: I LOVE the way they smell, and they are obviously developed to do a good job with stains. However... I became more and more aware that A LOT of the chemicals in them are absolutely horrible (eg. look up Benzisothiazolinone) The last straw was the moment I realised: my cats' skin became sensitive to freshly washed bedding and blankets. I had to swap.Currently I'm half-way through my first box of Nuts About Soap's laundry liquid. I must say, I couldn't be happier; it does a great job with stains, removes sweaty smells from gym clothing and our skin stopped the usual itching. To my delight, my cats' skin stopped being irritated too.The product is smartly packaged, easy to use and smells nice. There are no hidden additives and there is a superb website, dedicated to give more product info. I'll definitely buy again, as it's a no-brainer why to stick to the harmful detergents!

I have used the soap nuts, which I found to be very good. The liquid in itself is good also, however the box I found to be not easy to use. The liquid was often slow to dispense, and the tap was difficult to turn on and off, before I finished the box the tap had snapped. I would not repurchase and will return to Ecos, an easy to use, recyclable bottle, much more user friendly.

We have very sensitive skin in our family & I'd previously used soap nuts & found them brilliant until they started to leak out of their little bag & left completely indelible brown marks on clothing (& believe me we tried!), so had reluctantly gone back to non-bio (got urticaria trying other environmentally friendly products). I've been using this for about a month & am delighted to find that it washes just as well if not better than the soap nuts with no bits to leave any stains; the washing is lovely & clean, smells great (nothing artificial & no lingering sweaty odours), and is also very soft so we don't need conditioner. It is a more expensive option & it's difficult to see how much is left, other than that it's perfect.

Wow - this stuff really works. Unlike another ECO logical friendly VERsion of detergents which I see in supermarkets, nuts about soap actually cleans. The problem with environmentally friendly cleaning products is that they seem to just have less cleaning product, and so you end up just using more of it to get stuff really clean - and as a result they become just as damaging as the normal stuff. Soap to Nuts actually cleans just as well as full strength detergent based products. Don't be put off by the colour of the liquid (brown) - it really cleans well. We've stopped using washing powders and now only get this.

Thought I would love this but didn't. Smells nice but otherwise not as effective as I expected and left an awful residue inside my washing machine...

Great product - washes really well, but most importantly for me, it doesn't make me sneeze!!! Virtually every one of the main washing powders gives me a real allergy problem, irritating my skin and leaving me sneezing my head off - but no such problems with this at all. Its good stuff, besides being environmentally sound which is a great bonus too. I'd thoroughly recommend it, whether like me you suffer with allergies, or you just want to help save the planet.

Love this eco-friendly product.Clothes are clean & are naturally softened.Add cupful soda crystals to the washing machine drawer & help it alongNo optical brighteners so don't expect perfection.Use a good quality stain remover,if it bothers you.
