Fun game. Definitely for older teens and adults. It’s got a good little jolt. Think the slight zap of touching ur tongue to a 9v battery but ur hands instead. It only lasts a second though. It’s easy fun and definitely durable. The size is nice weights not bad but it’s not soft so it does kinda hurt if u get hit unexpectedly. Definitely not for kids. I would suggest age 15+

Got this for my Husband for Christmas & played it last night! We had age ranges from 6-42 and the one that loved it the most was the youngest. It does shock you but it’s not “dangerous” as some have stated. It’s unexpected but you are tossing it so quickly it’s not gonna harm/hurt you in any way. It was soooo fun! We all loved it and I can see why directions say to SIT in a circle. They tater will go flying g through the air, ultimately breaking it if it hit the ground hard enough. Lol. We loved the game, simple, fun & LOTS of laughs!

We played this at Christmas, and laughed so hard, and had so much fun. There are three levels of play, light, normal and extreme. Light you barely feel anything, normal gives you a good jolt, and extreme is intense.

Super fun but don’t start on extreme mode, holy moly! Got this for my 12 year old for Xmas. We have only used it a couple of times, hopefully it doesn’t break. It’s pretty heavy so you don’t want to chuck it hard, gently toss back and forth at a close range. You’re supposed to start on the lame setting which is just the music and the fake out that it might zap but it doesn’t. Then move to normal. It gives a decent jolt on that but it’s not painful. Unfortunately my son had it set to extreme our first time and I was caught with it. Holy cow!! 🐮 my hands went numb and I teared up. We laughed hysterically but yikes! 😬 maybe extreme people that get a kick out of a touch of pain will like that setting but we’ll stick to ‘normal’ setting.

This brings hot potato to the new generation! Fun had by all. Would keep the age range above 6. It’s not a bad shock but it does have a sting.

First of all, the battery installation is very tricky. If you tighten the screw all the way, the shocktato doesn't even turn on. I had to keep it loose to get it to even turn on. Then when we got the game to work it shocked one good time and after that it doesn't shock at all when the buzzer goes off. I have tried different modes, the reset button 3 times, and replaced the batteries. My kids are dissappointed. Would not recommend.

This is so fun! I purchased for my 11-year old grandson and initially he was scared to play it but after getting use to the 'mild' stage we keep it on top tier and love it! It's fun and I promise you'll laugh when playing it. A new take on hot potato!

I got this as a funny gift for my 10 year old last xmas and oddly enough it ended up being my 5 year old lil dare devils favorite toy lol which in turn was entertainment for my older son as he cried laughing at his lil brother getting shocked repeatedly by a potato. It made a memorable Xmas for sure!

The original one I received broke after dropping it once. The box it came in was all dented and it looked like it was previously used. The description says it should withstand drops, so, I reached out to the manufacturer and they were great and sent me one that was clearly brand new.

Decided to buy this as a fun little gift, first red flag was the box being damaged but took it in stride as long as the potato actually worked. It felt a bit cheap so we decided to play ontop of some cushions so that when it fell it didn't shatter into a million pieces. After 2 games it suddenly stopped shocking us and that was it. Still waiting for a refund
