Lovely Paint Good Price
I follow a Canadian Artist who paints on YouTube every week. He recommends using Amsterdam paints, as they're not expensive and are a good quality true colour for mixing with other paints. He's absolutely right. I'm new to painting so I don't want to spend a fortune on paints. I use 6 colours, all Amsterdam, plus titanium white and mix all the colours I'll ever need from them. I've uploaded one of my recent efforts to show how great these paints are for mixing.

Beautiful Color and Consistency
As always, Royal Talens Amsterdam didn't fail to impress. I wish it was available here in the US and Ireland (I'm often in the US for extended periods to visit family) but so far I've only managed to find it on Amazon UK. It's every bit as good as Liquitex, Winsor-Newton,, or Daler Rowney student grade acrylic paints. Good value for good paint, and for those who don't like to mix, there are colors that I've not seen in any of the aforementioned paints.

Great value
A lovely transparent pink that seems to work in glazes. Here I've experimented with it in this sketchbook doodle over a mix of alizarin and naples yellow. Really excellent value for 120ml tube. Note: this is a transparent colour as many reds are; vermillion, cadmium and red ochre being obvious exceptions.

This is a beautiful and intense colour that gr I love that gradates from an intense blue with a hint of green to a lighter almost deep sky blue - the kind of deep sky blue that you used to see often on a cloudless sunshiny day. Now it seems all you see is overcast brownish-yellowy - white unnatural looking sky. I am a big fan of Amsterdam/Royal Talens: the quality is just superb, the pigments are carefully chosen and the paints are colour steadfast. All in all - a beautiful colour, and highly recommended!
