Thanks to the practical rectangular shape it fits easily into my rucksack, and it doesn't feel like there's any wasted bulk at all. The materials and fastenings feel good quality, and the padding gives me confidence that my camera will be safe from any minor bumps and knocks that my bag might be subject to - clearly as a lightweight case I still wouldn't want to drop it from height or sit on it or anything though! It comes with several internal padded dividers attached with velcro so you can customise the layout (I took 2 out as I didn't need them in my setup though). If you want to use it as a standalone shoulder bag then there are loops so you could attach a (not included) strap if you wanted. For comparison I have pictured it next to an old "desertcart Basics DSLR Gadget Messenger Bag Medium" (discontinued, but you can find it via Google) which I was using prior to buying this.
