I used the whole tube on both feet and by the time I finished it the athlete's foot fungus was gone. And I've had that fungus for over a year. I don't know why I didn't attack it sooner but when I bought this, this was definitely cheaper than if it was bought at the store so this is great value if you buy it with the powder and the tube of lotrimin together. I have had ringworm for almost a year. I started with the basic Lotrimin, then the dr. gave some other thing where TERBINAFINE was the active ingredient, and they mostly just made it different, but no real improvement as it continued to spread. I've been using this for a week now, and my most difficult area is almost gone. It's weird, too - seems like the other areas are improving also even though I didn't directly apply any of this on to those spots. I guess just "having it my system" helps?

Definitely made a dent in my athlete's foot but it didn't get rid of it completely. It's a little harsh so I switched to a cleaner product. It didn't have a harsh smell. I do think it was working but I didn't actually finish with it.

There are several different types of fungus that will cause athlete's foot. In my experience, creams will slow it down, but they don't usually cure it completely. I've had a lot of luck with sprays; they tend to absorb deeper into the subdermal layers where the fungus takes root. Whatever I've got right now (top of foot / trying to get between the toes) barely reacted to this stuff. I actually meant to buy the Lotrimin spray can because that was working, albeit very slowly. This cream did almost nothing, maybe slowed the spread slightly. Right now I'm using a natural colloidal silver/tea tree ointment that seems to be doing a pretty good job. Yes, silver is both antibacterial and antifungal. In fact it's working better than the spray did. I must have a particularly resistant strain. It's never been this hard to eradicate in the past.
