I am an adult grown woman who's always had a fondness for teddies but special ones. I have been going through a scary health scare & not been sleeping well. I looked into aids and a weighted blanket or a weighted toy came up so I did some homework. The blanket wouldn't work for me we have 4 dogs I have enough weight on top of me at night! So soft weighted toy it is. I marrowed it down to this one and another that was 2.5kg. I picked up our pup at 6 months they are 5kg so I knew it would weight half of our pup. The heavier one is also made in China so I did question myself about the reviews and possible softness and hardness. So I thought nope I am going for this cutie and he arrived y'day & as first I was like ooh soft but didn't really notice the weight. When going to bed to pick him up I then did notice the weight in a better way. The weight is in the bum, hands & feet and I feel it is placed perfectly. Well last night I actually slept! So I have now named him Alan no idea why (Reacher would be to sus around hubs so I went with the actors actual name lol he has no idea!) :) So yes me and Alan spent a blissful forst night together and I cuddled him all night long, he didn't fall out of the bed either which always happens with regular soft toys. Alan is SO soft I love stroaking him. I have found it very comforting just having him sitting/laying with me so I can touch the softness when my braid starts to worry/overthink. my ONLY issue are our FOUR dogs! They want to play with Alan I fear I may have to get some Rambo home made traps set up to keep the dogs away from my Alan :) :) If the company could kindly make a dogs toys range mine would place advance orders they feel left out me having the toy & not them! This sloth is finished off excellently. He is super soft. Just the right amount of weight weighted in all the right places Personally I feel he is amazing value for money and I am SO glad I read the reviews on him & chose British made because honestly it shows not being a snob but the attention to detail is lovely, even the weights inside feel soft not hard, the fabric is really good quality, no fur coming off when I stroak him. If your needing some comfort just buy him I 100% endorse this soothing teddy, appealing to the eyes and soothes anxiety & helps me sleep. Love him! Now go get one for yourself.

Feels very soft and is very weighted in the body arms and legs just be prepared to catch up a few little gaps in the stitching as mine had a couple of little holes along a couple of the seems but they were small and very easy to fix since then I've had no problems with it and I've had mine for a few years now its the perfect weight not light at all and lovely and soft to cuddle looks just like the photo wonderful comfort plush

After buying a rip off weighted dinosaur from amazon and returning it as it came vacuum packed and unweighted i was nervous about ordering this sloth. However I carefully read the reviews and took the plunge. When it arrived in a large box I was pleasantly surprise and when I opened it wow. It's really big, fully weighted, and so soft its going to be hard to pass this on as a gift. I took a picture with my hand so you can get a size reference. I cannot recommend this enough, do not waste your money or time on others on amazon, if you're after a weighted teddy bear - this is the one for you

This bear was nicely weighted , I was dissapointed as thought the arms would go round neck but they are to short , iam going to keep as it’s for my grandaughter as I think she will like and I don’t have time to look for another one . it would preferred larger bear that could hug this doesn’t hug you

I've gone back to my childhood! Such a lovely soft, irresistible cuddly New friend. His fluffy body reminds me of stroking my first ever puppy. Very soothing and calming, so needed after a very long stressful time. Well worth the cost and so well made too. Perfect for most sges, and best of all my ideal.

I recently ordered sleepy the sloth for my son who instantly fell in love with it. The quality of it is exceptional and the weighted filling stays where it should. It looks so beautiful and the face is super cute. The weight distribution really does mean it feels very cuddly. My son has enjoyed having him sit with him and sleep with him - he's even put him into various yoga postions, and said ' hey mum look sleepy is doing the plank'😁 After reading the description of the sloth, I thought I would get it to help my son when he's feeling a bit overwhelmed and so far it really has helped - the weight just helps him feel comforted and secure. I am really pleased with the purchased.

I'm 43 and in no way ashamed to say that this gorgeously soft sloth worked it's slumbering magic. I have GAD and recently I haven't been sleeping well due to chronic anxiety. I came across this wee fellow and honestly, I had the best night's sleep in ages!! I cannot recommend this plushie enough to anyone who suffers from anxiety. The weight is perfect as well as the size and the fur is super soft... literally the PERFECT anxiety plushie. I ordered this sloth comfort toy yesterday evening to help woth some light anxiety and stress.... and today, 'Sam' as I have named hom arrived at mt home. What a brilliant product! So soft, perfectly weoghted at 1.5lg, and immaculately made, Sam fots perfectly on my chest and is like having a permannet hug. What I can say right now is that I can see all my stresses beinf relegated to some distant corner...and that, as an adult giy in his 50's...there is absolutely nothong wrong woth purchasing this. Thos comfort toy is just perfect in so many ways. Definitely recommend 110%
