This is the part that broke probably causing my pump and control board to fail. The rubber seal from this was missing and most likely stuck in the impeller causing overheating. If your waterfall won’t turn off I suggest replacing this part sooner than later.

I found this doing a search for a replacement fountain control valve. It was easy to use and it even came with a small tube of silicon grease to lubricate the cartridge. VEry good price vs the OEM units

It works fine but does not turn as easily as the original, and I did lube it with the lube provided.
