I purchased the desk light for my wife as she does quite a lot of cross-stitch. It helps her now the nights are drawing in.It gives that extra light needed when she does them at night. Our lounge lights are not quite bright enough to see.product is brilliant and the price was great too!

Quick delivery of a solid, good product. Not a problem for me as I have the kit but they might like to consider either including the very small Allen Key needed to assemble the base or change it to a standard screw as some might be caught out with the current lack of a 1p tool but other than that all seems well!

The lamp is a good overall design. But its just too weak. Plastic joints broke after 18 months rendering it useless! So it has to go in the bin! It was ok for a while but then it broke just by moving ot in the normal way. My guess is that the plastic is not UV stable. To be fair, I am using a UV bulb in it. And this may have affected the plastic joints and weakened them. Still, im not too happy.

Bought for my father. Perfect aid for his hobby crafts and stopped all the complaints about terrible light and not being able to see. Delivered well packaged and very quickly - ordered late Friday night and delivered Sunday lunchtime. Very happy.

There are better ways to put a light over your work area. The fitting for the unit to the base is wobbly. The plastic shade isn't deep enough and combined with a flimsy bulb holder when horizontal the bulb tip is below the level of the shade. Counterbalancing is far from confidence inspiring.

Product is fine but the plug/poweradapter is too big to fit through access in desk top.
