DDJ FLX4 is really really awesome for beginners for dj who what's to be DJ 1. U can self learn ur dj controller even I'm doing self how to setup up nd all 2. Friendly layout of dj controller no rocket science at all it's really nice to use in beginners u got everything u need just go for it. 3. Hands off to pioneer for this awesome product 4. Rekordbox license u will not need to purchase any subscription of rekordbox just plug in nd u ready to go through party anything nd anywhere

This is amazing! Beginners might need some time to get used to this but once you get a hang of this product, you'll be the DJ in all the parties. Haven't tried serato but it syncs perfectly with rekordbox. I use this with my iPad which I can connect with Bluetooth or keep it wired - plugging with external speakers and starting off was a breeze. The build quality is great. Would be even better if it came with a case by default.

I was eyeing this for a long time and it was worth the wait. So its price hovers between ₹32000-₹34000 in both online and offline markets but during sale its gets pretty good discount and card offers, and I bought for a modest ₹28240 using card offer from COCOBLU. No amazon packaging was used and the box was pretty beaten up, there was no seal on the box by Pioneer, the manufacturing date was Sept/2023 although I was expecting a early 2024 or later manufactured device but ok. The device was well padded and was in pristine/untouched/brand new condition like its was never been opened. Jog wheels are very sensitive to touch and responsive the volume knobs and faders are nice and accurate, the device is pretty much built well enough to last a long time if you take care of it. Only thing which I did not like is its bottom plate where its rear I/O is mounted, It’s made of cheap plastic and very flimsy, something that AlphaTheta should definitely take note of for charging a freaking ₹34000/$300. The device integrates very well with both Serato DJ Pro and Rekordbox 7 the sound quality is great the built-in sound card is loud, crisp and has very low THD at high volumes. The output from headphones monitoring jack is very clear and loud as well. The crossfader is good though I don’t know what brand it is using and I’m sure it’s not a MAGVEL, Upfaders for both decks takes more force to move but are smooth, pitch faders accuracy is very good. Overall the device is worth the money and recommended for aspiring DJs.

Recieved it in mint condition, as it always should be. All buttons and knobs function as intended. Was ready to go out of the box. A note for those using older PC or laptop, make sure you get a usb c to a converter for the supplied usb c cable to work. A great piece of gear for practicing your dj skills at home. Begginers on a budget look no further, get this. If you practice on this, then you will be able to easily perform on real cdjs at clubs .

I Bought the flx 4 towards end of October as a b-day present for myself. First impressions: The white color looks majestic, no issues with dirt on the controller as I keep it covered when not in use, and am a clean hands type of person 😉. Moving on, it is really lightweight; the interface with rekordbox is simple, as is the set up (I purchased edifier mr4 and audio technica mx20 headphones with it; check out my review on these items). Now, along to the fun part: mixing music. I had no experience with mixing music, knew very little, however, using the tools available through Professor YouTube, I am able to learn and sound somewhat decent when mixing, however, need to learn and practice different ways to transition. (THE SMART FADER AND SYNC BUTTON ARE A USEFUL TOOL, HOWEVER, LEARN TO MIX WITHOUT THEM). With that said, I highly recommend this product for beginner dj hobbyists. It familiarizes you with basic pioneer/alphatheta ecosystem, where you can hone your skills, feel comfortable mixing, and HAVE FUN.
