Good value... slightly louder than my original but it is worth it.
Worked great.

Works
Been working a few months. Bought this after I had a Laing fail after 1 year & a Grundfos failed on delivery. Been in 2 months and works well. It is louder than others, but that's because the motor is cooled by fan unlike others. Also good radiator fins, so likely handles heat well. Hope it holds up s But so far it works well. Can't see in photo but cord is about 6 ft. with female spade connectors on black and white wires. Green ground has no connector.

Worked fine in my 20-year-old Hot Springs hot tub, until it didn't
This pump is substantially larger than the old Watkins pump that finally failed after 23 years of running 24/7. That size difference forced me to slightly relocate the tub's heater. Moving these parts around necessitated replacing the ¾" connecting hoses (which I had planned to do anyway, as the old ones were opaque, rock hard, and difficult to work with). Found a 10-ft section of reinforced PVC hose at Lowes. Tip: using a heat gun (on LOW) to warm up the PVC hoses, and putting a bit of plumber's silicone grease on the pump-to-hose flanges makes slipping the hoses onto the pump much easier. Once everything was connected, this pump works perfectly. As I already mentioned, it's quite a bit larger than the OE pump (and twice the HP), so I think it's just a bit louder than the stock pump (which is no longer available). No big deal, but the sound of the pump running is noticeable when you're in the tub. I'm pretty sure that it's moving more water, so filtration should be better than stock. Yes, I'd buy it again. Oh, and I had a technical question about the motor, left an Amazon message for the seller, and received a response within minutes. That's impressive. Update: just after the one-year warranty expired, the pump started turning itself off for several minutes, then back on. When the pump goes off, the spa controller automatically turns off the heater. In my spa, the heater never comes back on, even if the circ pump starts back up. So, cold tub. I have a new (different) pump on order. One more thing: according to the label, this pump draws 1.8 amps, or about 218 watts. That's a lot! Running 24 hr/day means that I was paying about $26/month (@17¢/kwh) just to run the circ pump! The new pump I just ordered supposedly draws 39 watts, less than a fifth of this one. Live and learn, right?

Measure your work area
Works great I highly recommend it. It’s a little larger than I thought it was gonna be though but it still fit in my Jacuzzi real Jacuzzi first straight though how do they recommend robust I’ve had it several months now and have no problems. Highly recommend.

Bearings out in less than 6 months
Replaced a Laing 6000-125 in May 2023. Bearings are squealing and locking up Dec 2023. Used in a Sundance Optima spa. Customer service replied immediately and remedied the situation. Very surprised to get prompt communication from a vendor. Thank you for your help and problem resolution.
