I am not typically a big fan of matcha-flavored sweets, but I bought these for my boyfriend. We ended up sharing, as they are a great accompaniment to after-dinner fruity green tea. I like the ratio of filling to chocolate, and I understand the hype now.

It is certainly unique, but not what I signed up for.This has a liquid center, probably some kind of green tea syrup, which ruins the experience in my opinion. This was intended to be a surprise for the wife, one who gives constantly and I never get her anything special. She walks around in rags and breast feeds for 15 years straight, and I want to get her something she would never think of trying. Something from Japan, where the last bastion of where supurb quality and pride in one's work exists universally. Then I find out these things have a liquid core, which I suppose some may like, but the wife did not and neither did I. I ordered a solid bar of "dark matcha" instead, hopefully this will be a better experience.

Every piece you open ,they fall apart!! Considering it’s a gourmet chocolate & for what you spend ?not worth it !

Almost 40 dollars for something SO TINY?! Kinda ridiculous to pay for that. The bag it came in was HUGE compared to the candy... lol it is laughable. Dont waste your money.

I was disappointed with taste and half of them were melted when I received them.
