Perfect!!
Bought to increase the RAM on an ASUS X751LJ (R752L) laptop, This module is recognized directly and without problem by the BIOS / UEFI. I went from 4GB of origin to 12GB thanks to the bar and I must say that even if I have already replaced the hard drive with an SSD I can clearly see the difference under Windows 10! The fluidity, the reactivity is there and it is bluffing! I even put barely ten seconds to start. The assembly is a bit tedious with regard to the RAM on this kind of ASUS laptop series, not having a hatch below, you must first remove the screws below, then remove the keyboard and finally the RAM is accessible but you still have to turn over the motherboard (ASUS is abusing it a bit). If you know your way around, or if you are motivated (finally the change is quite fast) do not hesitate, it is really worth it!

04 64bit) and do not know how this ram would function on this computer if it were running Windows as I do not use Windows (and very happy that I don't)
NOTE: I already upgraded my CPU from the stock i3 to an i5 processor*, so my computer is now about as upgraded as it can be. Upgrading a CPU is possible with this model laptop as the CPU isn't soldered to the Mother Board. The reason I upped the ram is I was running out of ram regularly with heavy video editing projects (originally had 8GB of ram). I use Ubuntu Linux (16.04 64bit) and do not know how this ram would function on this computer if it were running Windows as I do not use Windows (and very happy that I don't)... although, I would guess that this ram would work fine. This is a very easy upgrade for most laptops... just check your specific model on the Crucial website to be sure you are ordering the correct ram modules for your specific model computer to avoid the hassle of getting incompatible ram modules ;) So far I have had no problems with these ram units, and everything worked perfectly when I booted up after installing them! I am using them in a Toshiba Satellite c855-s5355 Laptop running Ubuntu 16.04 and my System Monitor shows 15.6 GB of usable RAM out of the 16 GB installed (8GBx2)... I am a happy camper! *fyi... I installed the Intel Core i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz (2 cores/4 threads) which worked perfectly in my computer. However, I do not know if Windows 8 or 10 would have hiccuped with this upgrade... again, I use Linux, so it just worked in my case :)

Best upgrade for QNAP NAS
I recently bought the new TS-251B NAS drive which came with 4GB as the highest RAM configuration but is upgradeable to 8GB officially (16GB unofficially as claimed by many other QNAP users). Since I got a 4GB version of the NAS I wanted to upgrade to 8GB so as to run virtualisation of Windows 10 on the NAS without performance problems. I found the Crucial 4GB DDR3L (Low voltage i.e. 1.35v) 1866MHz, to be compatible and also great value for money. The module recommended by QNAP costs around 80 quid plus shipping whereas this cost me 32 quid on prime next day delivery. I had done some research on other sites and Crucial was highly recommended. The installation completed in a few minutes and the NAS was upgraded to 7.7GB of real usable space. I've been using this module for over two days now and so far have seen no problems. The NAS resource monitor has not reported any issues with memory or performance therein. Everything now is a lot quicker including the web frontend. I would highly recommend this module for QNAP NAS upgrade but do check the RAM type compatibility with your NAS model.

Works great in Synology DS918+
Bought this to expand the 4 GB standard RAM in the Synology DS918+ server to 8 GB. Recommendations from a number of sites led me to this part. I was uncomfortable about accidentally damaging my excellent server but the £23 was too good to disregard. I'm very glad I did. It's been in for a week now and has been running fine. After the 10-min DIMM installation, I used the Synology Assistant on Windows to command the DS918+ to run its RAM test. That took 3-odd hours but came through clean. That's time well spent to get that reassurance. I can now run a virtual Ubuntu Linux using 4 GB comfortably alongside the server's native DSM using the other 4 GB. All feels solid and nimble. Great upgrade, good price.

good product
Standard product and does what it should be doing. Easy to alter and easy to detect...obviously depends on the laptop quality too.. but the product itself is no bad at all.

Perfect for Dell 5520 Inspiron Laptop
I purchased this RAM specifically to upgrade a Dell 5520 laptop with an 2.2ghz i7 processor. Lost of online resources indicate that the 5520 cannot handle 2 x 8GB DDR3 of RAM but I used the free Crucial Scanner and then sourced the parts on Amazon. The packing was suitable for delivery although it was dusty and a little worn which worried me about the contents. However, I dropped the memory into the slots and booted it up and now it runs like a dream. Both the internal Windows 10 diagnostic and the Crucial scanner recognise all 16GB as being used and my laptop has a new lease of life. Excellent service, excellent delivery and excellent price.

Curing my laptops Alzheimers
Years ago, when I needed memory to upgrade or repair my desktops or laptops I'd buy direct from Crucial. Late yesterday afternoon, i chose my memory and to my surprise, i was redirected to Amazon. The memory arrived this morning and is now safely esconced in my laptop and it no longer suffers from Alzheimer's! It was easy to fit, very reasonably priced, (I paid more than this for a 1Gb memory module to enhance a netbook running XP on 500Mb of memory years ago), and I am a very happy bunny. Tha n k you Amazon and Crucial!

I got 16 GB to upgrade the low capacity stock RAM on my DS918+. Both sticks worked perfectly out of the box on DSM 7.2. The NAS is now more responsive!

The RAM upgrade has been working perfectly for over the past day. I added the RAM to handle the extra load associated with a HIKVision Surveillance Camera (model DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3 ). The camera was using approximately 14% of the (original) 4GB of RAM ... it is now using approximately 3% of the (upgraded) 16GB RAM.

Aun con ello no he tenido problemas.
