The crimpers are super sturdy no rattles or loose play as they are well made,they are supplied with 50 connectors a battery operated line tester a pair of decent wire cutters and a small tool which is for pushing in the wires to a row of connection points in a wall socket for a neater install.And not forgetting a spare set of blades for the crimpers and a small instruction booklet which is very handy as it shows the two standards of Rj45 connection as well as the bt phone jack which i think is Rj11 or 12 i think but im not 100 per cent on that however i only needed the Rj45.So the very first crimp i nailed it as with this being a pass through connector its very easy and the crimper also cuts the excess cables as it crimps all in one press of the handle.The crimpers are a comfy fit in your hand with the curved indentations for your fingers to sit comftably when using the tool.So to sum up this is a awesome deal with everything you need to make custom cables of course you need cable but you can pick this up at your local screwfix of B n Q store of simply purchase a cable from amazon and cut it to your length required and crimp a new connector on the end and your sorted.

Bought this so that I could make custom length cables for a home poe cctv installation, easy to use, good instructions and well made. Managed to make plenty of cat 6 cables with no previous experience.

All you need for ethernet, the tool works well and the supplied connectors are easy to use.

Colour coding provides fool proof wiring of cat6 cables and pliers cut off excess wires to give clean finish.

Good quality items

A couple of RJ45 boots on the end of some installed network cabling were faulty. Decided to buy this and fix them myself rather than paying for someone to come and fix them. Money well spent I think. A couple of youtube videos to learn the technique + this tool and the tester and everything fixed an hour later.

Moved into a new house with four CAT5 cables hanging out of the wall with bare ends. After four practice attempts on a spare length of cable I had the hang of it and the tester proved I had it wired correctly. The cables weren't marked up but the remote tester allowed me to match each cable to a socket around the house. No problems with any of the items in the kit but I bought some coloured strain release boots to finish things off.
