This book is incredible and is perfect for someone who is starting to play harder pieces, personally chopin is my favourite composer and this book has some of his most beautiful works in there however it is important to note that none of these pieces are "easy" each require good fundamentals of piano playing and the ability to read sheet music well, some pieces will be easier than others though such as some of his preludes and (in my opinion) the easiest one to start with would be his waltz in a minor op posth this is widely regarded as his easiest piece and i would start with this before trying the harder pieces. Still with that being said this book is incredible and well worth buying for any chopin lovers

As my review of the Complete Beethoven Sonatas will probably reveal, I am no expert on modern piano music books. Most of my older student manuscripts open flat without any fight, or even a faint whimper in protest. This one feels a tad easier than the Beethoven book - the spine is differently designed and allows itself to be manipulated. Putting aside any reservations about structure, everything else about this book is fine. It's great value. It's just chock full of all my favourite Chopin Preludes etc, and on a bad day I think I'll never get the hang of them. There are no concessions towards less able pianists such as myself, but in a way that is quite reassuring - as I make progress, I am feeling that it has something to do with my own improving technique, rather than that someone has lowered the bar. Clear print, and on this basis I would be very happy to order other examples in this series (now sizing up the Etudes which I shall no doubt massacre in a similar way).

Didn't play the piano for about 15 years after finishing the music school and now I am happy to find a time to play my favourite classic music like Chopin and Beethoven. Plenty of Preludes, Nocturnes and Waltzes. Don't think it is for beginners. If you have already some skills you can enjoy playing your favourite music. Must have for every music lovers!

Absolutely magical music! The book contains so many pieces which will keep you entertained for an eternity. There are very challenging pieces and some which can be learnt within hours. The nocturnes consist of some of the best classical piano music you will ever hear.

Ad un prezzo accessibile, una raccolta completa di meravigliose partiture per pianoforte. Notazione in vecchio stile (non fatta al computer), ben impaginato e completo di diteggiatura. Molto buona la qualità della carta. Contiene una breve prefazione su Chopin, se mai possa servire. Assolutamente consigliato.
