I love this little thing. It is so neat and stylish. It was very easy to set up and had v good sound quality. I like the fact that is has FM as back up. I also really liked the ability to dim the display across 5 levels. Very impressed indeed.

Bought this to replace an old pure evoke and even though this is mono and not stereo like the old one the sound quality is just fine. Very easy to set up and this one has an on-off switch which actually works! It's small and neat and good looking.

Great reception and sound, display very dated and cramped. Good design but that display lets' it down.

Absolutely love love this. Looks beautiful, sound is great, perfect size. Display not too bright at all but easy to read. Easy to set up. So glad I chose this quality product. Usually buy Roberts so change for me but glad I did!

I really didn't expect this small radio to give such big sound. Clear, crisp and punchy (Bass and Treble adjustable too so you can find the perfect tone). At Sub £50 I think I would really be hard pressed to find anything comparable. If you don't need Bluetooth connectivity (which is why I think this is significantly cheaper than the H3 and H4 that have it) then this has to be, arguably, the best mini DAB available for the price. Highly recommended. One very minor point, the sticker that is attached to the bottom of the speaker grill and base WILL come off, just needs some coaxing, a little care and some nail polish remover on a bit of cotton wool.

This is a difficult review to write. As a product it gets 5 stars from me because the features and sound quality really are superb. I bought this initially as a bedside clock but I wanted a decent radio for Radio 6 Music whilst in bed catching up with emails. The display is large and clear but in standby it dims plenty so it doesn't keep me awake at night like my last clock radio. So far so good. However, tomorrow I will be receiving my FOURTH unit in the last month due to cosmetic issues. The first has a chip in the wooden cabinet next to the volume button. The second had a minor chip in the paint on the front speaker, which stood out in glaring black against the brilliant white like a sore thumb. Then, last night, I noticed my current unit has a small part of the LCD missing, almost like a dead pixel. I noticed this because in standby mode, this unit displays the time and date. Yesterday being the 28th Feb but my display read 20th because the middle bar in the "8" doesn't work. I switched the unit on and when the text was scrolling across I did indeed see this part of the screen is defective. Tomorrow another new unit will arrive. If that one has any problems I'll have to return and consider a different brand. That would be a shame because I really like this unit. However, reliability is important to me and I don't have time to keep dealing with returns etc. Amazon have been really great throughout with no-fuss returns. I'm just disappointed that Pure have allowed some obviously defective units out for sale. I expected so much more from a reputable brand.

For the 36 hours that this radio worked, I was really pleased with it. Did everything I'd expected and had good, clear yet mellow sound. Unfortunately, when I switched it on at bedtime on the second night, the display screen suddenly went blank! The actual radio was still working but, as all adjustments and settings are done via the screen, it was unusable. (I was stuck with Radio 4, alarm set permanently to 7.30am and no sleep timer!) Amazon gave me a full refund and free return of the radio. As I'd also had a problem with iZilla sneaking a mark-up on to the listed price, at the final checkout, I decided not to order a replacement from them.

bought for elderly mother. She is very happy with the sound, volume, looks and ease of use. I didn't check the dimensions when purchased but looks taller than the photo suggests. The build quality is also very good Noticed price jumped form £68 to £83 in the space of a few days on amazon.
