Does the speaker sound ok if played while in the case, or is the case just for transporting it?

Case is just for storage. It has a thick padding inside that will not allow much sound to go through it. To enjoy the true Sonos sound experience I’d recommend taking it out of the case

No. The Sonos app will control the Move when you and the speaker are on the same Wifi network. Away from home, you switch the Move to Bluetooth mode and stream music to it like any other Bluetooth speaker.

Nice tight fit, nice materials, and the charger fits pretty well now that they added that small detente. Still a little tight of a radius for the cord, but acceptable. Zipper is smooth, and straps and handles have held up well.
