No need for iTunes or some Apple software. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Do Your Research First - There are lots of different ESataP standards *by A***N on March 10, 2025* Even though my (old) pc has a specialized EsataP port (not plain old ESata) that "should" be able to power a 3.5 inch internal sata drive, it does not. I purchased this cable with that in mind. I did the research and made sure that this was the correct cable and that it would supply 3 volts, 5 volts, and 12 volts. But when I plugged it in, nothing worked. Beware, ESataP is supposed to be able to provide all 3 voltage levels and should be able to power up a 3.5 inch 5200 rpm or 7200 rpm internal sata drive. ..."Should" ... Maybe the cord is bad...maybe not. There is a great amount of confusion and, apparently, a few different standards with the same form factor (ESataP vs ESata). Also, from what I can glean, it depends on your PSU. So....buy this cable and be prepared to be disappointed. I am giving the cord 5 stars because the cord is probably fine. It is probably the PSU or that particular model of PC. And, yes, I know the port in the photo says esata.
