Great Watch! Hoping for some minor things next time...
This is really a great watch! The battery life is pretty great, the sensors are great for every day users, and the best part is how classy this watch looks. This watch actually works decently for fitness tracking. It is absolutely no replacement to a dedicated fitness watch like the 255 and 955, but even though it leaves me for wanting what those watches provide, it gives me more than I could have ever hoped for in its fitness abilities. Its sleep/awake tracking is scarily accurate. And its heart rate sensor is fairly good too. I do wish they had used their latest heart rate sensor because even though this is more accurate than many other devices out there, it still makes me question how accurate the reading is because I know it's not Garmin's best/latest iteration. Obviously if you are getting this watch though, it is mostly because of the design. And the design is precisely why I bought this watch and encourage anyone else with high taste to do the same. You will definitely want to get a classier looking watch strap than the one that comes with the watch, but the one provided with the watch works great for any fitness tracking you wish to do with the watch. I do, however, have a couple things that I really wish Garmin would improve. This watch is a different entry than the Garmin Style and Garmin Luxe, so I can forgive the plastic case to an extent. But a new watch with a gold/rose gold/silver/etc. case is long overdue. I like the design of this watch except for the plastic case (which still looks trendy, but not as classy as I would hope), but I still ended up getting this watch because the Style and Luxe are so outdated. I love the fact you can get notifications and even reply to notifications on-screen. I like the pre-set notifications, but I would like to see the ability to give full replies like my 7-year older Android Wear watch could provide. A speak to text option would be even better. These are options that I'm sure would be doable for a watch like this (so long as the microphone wouldn't ruin the design). My final suggestion would be to open this watch up to the app store. It has a full screen, and many apps and custom watch faces could still be added to this watch, even if they are more limited in options. In a perfect dream world, GPS, better battery life, and everything else that the 955 provides would be incredible to have in a watch like this, even if I had to pay more. But I understand the limits due to design, and I would prefer the design of this as a daily wearable over the 955 any day. But I will continue to use the 255 (eventually the 965 when it comes out) as my only fitness tracking watch when I receive it because it can do so much more. Hope this review helps!

Classy and easy to use
Super nice watch, I can workout but at the same time perfect to wear with a nicer outfit. The battery lasts usually 2-3 days and I wear it while sleeping. Very good quality and it's a perfect size for me. Very easy to use and overall great value for money. In terms of accuracy, I think it works really wear. I was comparing it with Google Pixel watch and it's very similar. I'd definitely recommend it for someone who wants to track their activity and at the same nice have a nicer look.

Quality product
This is my second garmin vivomove watch. I love the way they look like a regular watch and do not have the black screen. This one works great and has a lot of good features. The battery life is good. I would say I can go about 4 days without charging it. The brightness is great right now, but my last one only lasted about 2 years before you couldn't see anything anymore so do consider that. It is a bit pricey in my opinion, but it's the only one of it's kind that I've found.

Functional and stylish
Love it! Has a battery life of several days and can charge very quickly on the rare occasion I take it off. Value for money is incredible, it's lightweight, incredibly accurate, and easy to navigate. I love that it's durable enough to not have a single scratch while I wear it constantly, and it looks great with casual and formal wear alike. I was looking for a smartwatch that didn't look tacky, and this is absolutely it!

Beautiful watch ruined by abysmal execution
This is perhaps the best-looking smartwatch on the market. In theory, the design is stunning, with a textured face behind which a completely hidden screen clearly displays digital information. It's truly beautiful, even if they went a little too far with the monochrome color scheme, making the hands hard to read in anything but bright light. And if it had worked as advertised, it would easily be five stars. I appreciate the designers making a smartwatch that doesn't look like a toy. Unfortunately, the engineering execution on this is abysmal. In addition to the poor visibility of the hands, the hands themselves continually get out of alignment. By the end of the day of using this, the minute hand was usually 5 to 10 minutes off, and I had to do a manual recalibration. Typical MBA-led company; For an extra $1 to $2 on the bill of materials they could have put a proper encoder on the hands that would have let them fix these kinds of errors, but to save a few dollars and some management bonuses, they cheaped out on what could have been a beautiful watch, and it's unfortunately functionally junk. I'll be returning immediately. UPDATE: I bought the Withings ScanWatch 2, and it's a night and day difference in quality. The Garmin feels and works like cheap junk, the Withings is solid and metal and much more accurate in its health measurements. It also takes more measurements than the Garmin, has a longer battery life, and isn't even that much more expensive.

This was a gift for my wife who isn't tech-intuitive and she loves it. Does everything her Venu SQ did and more but looks more stylish and is as easy to use. Arrived the next day, works as expected.
