It elevates laptops 6 inches to improve posture, exposes 70% of the base for superior cooling, and secures devices with anti-slip silicone pads. Compatible with 11” to 17” laptops, it blends minimalist design with practical stability, perfect for home or office setups. ## Description From the manufacturer Review: Beautiful and functional - The stand came in an impressive box. It was fully wrapped with protective wrapping which was easy to slip off. I suppose if you stare at it long enough you can see some slight imperfections - but you'd really have to stare. The stand is sturdy and even when you type using the mac onboard keyboard there isn't much movement (unless you have a tendency to really stomp your keys...). I have my 12" Macbook on it and it sits very flush with the stand and seems to be quite secure. There are rubber soles for what your laptop sits on to keep it steady and these seem well-fitted and do the job. In terms of height, I find with my seat lowered my eyes are probably flush with the top of the screen - which seems ideal in terms of ergonomics. The stand is also quite light - despite feeling sturdy. This was important to me as I currently have a herniated disc in my neck and am working from home when I can. I therefore need to be able to move the stand to different locations or tidy it away (I'm using my dining room table as my home office desk!). Given how light the stand is - moving it is absolutely no issue. I guess I would say it is a reassuring weight, like enough to move but not flimsy. So pros and cons: Pros - Well-made Sturdy Simple but beautiful design Mac fits and sits well Plenty of air can get to Mac given the design Very easy to move Pretty good height. Cons - Price - you're paying for beautiful simplicity Not adjustable - but can't really count this as it never professed to be adjustable! All-in-all I'm very pleased. I just hope longer term it remains as beautiful as it is today! Review: Stable, looks good and just the right height - Not the cheapest but really well made and finished, and exactly the right height for everyday use. Bought this for my son because seeing him hunched over the laptop was making my back ache just looking at him. It comes in three parts that ‘click’ firmly together - but I’ve found that with a good strong pull you can get it apart again to fit in the case at the beginning/end of term… Top tip: get an external keyboard and mouse at the same time, or instead of a stiff neck they’ll get carpal tunnel syndrome… (rolls eyes) ## Features - Protection - Anti-slip silicone pads and bent arms keep laptop in place and prevent scratches - Better Ergonomics - Curve raises laptop 6 inches (15cm) off your desk to relieve neck and shoulder strain - Multiple Uses - Pair with a full-size keyboard & mouse for a comfortable desktop setup or use with a monitor for dual screen functionality - Air Flow - Curve keeps 70% of the base exposed for optimal cooling - Compliment your Workspace - Curve's modern minimal design uses a single piece of bent aluminum to fit in with your work environment. Compatible with laptops 11" to 17" such as Apple MacBooks, Acer, ASUS, HP, Dell, Microsoft Surface Laptop, Lenovo, Samsung, and more. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07377XVNY | | Best Sellers Rank | 85,267 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 138 in Laptop Computer Stands | | Brand | Twelve South | | Brand Name | Twelve South | | Colour | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 3,860 Reviews | | Finish Type | Unfinished | | Finish type | Unfinished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00811370021607 | | Included Components | laptop stand | | Is Assembly Required? | No | | Item Dimensions | 27.9 x 25.4 x 15.2 centimetres | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Type Name | Twelve South 12-1708 Curve for MacBook, matte black, Desktop stand for Apple notebooks | | Item Weight | 1.5 Pounds | | Item Width | 10.3 Inches | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 27.9 x 25.4 x 15.2 centimetres | | Item weight | 1.5 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Twelve South | | Material | Aluminium , Silicone | | Model Number | 12-1708 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Levels | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | 12-1708 | | Product Warranty | 1 year. | | Riser Color | Black | | Special Features | Ergonomic | | UPC | 811370021607 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Twelve South - **Colour:** Black - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 27.9 x 25.4 x 15.2 centimetres - **Item weight:** 680 g - **Material:** Aluminium, Silicone ## Images ![Twelve South Curve for MacBooks and Laptops | Ergonomic desktop cooling stand for home or office, matte black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71hXpGgnrgL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this product suitable for the new MacbookPro 16 inch?** A: I would think that it would fit without any problem at all. The laptop just sits on the stand it doesn’t “snap in” or anything like that. I use it with my 15 inch 2018 MacBook Pro. The new 16 inch model is only slightly larger. **Q: I have had the stand for few months but my Mac has started slipping off so it feels like it is losing its grip. Any suggestions?** A: I have both Mac and PCs. Mine never slips off. Have you got a heavy camera clipped on the top of the screen? **Q: Is this compatible with the 13 inch MacBook Pro?** A: Yes **Q: is this compatible with macbook air 15" 2023 version** A: We have a 13 inch MacBook and it works perfectly and looks great. Good quality. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful and functional *by B***N on 9 August 2018* The stand came in an impressive box.
