I bought this little radio to listen to in the garage or while working on the house. I didn't particularly expect too much from it and I'd just looked for something cheap and cheerful that I wouldn't mind getting covered in paint or plaster. Having said that, this thing is, well... WOW! Amazing sound quality at low or high volume, crystal clear audio on DAB. A very quick scan through the instructions but everything is fairly self-explanatory and intuitive, easy to store and recall presets. The built in re-chargeable battery was a bonus, but again I didn't expect too much. Was I wrong! It's incredible for such a small device. During the recent storms (I'm in Wales) our cats were very spooked and we'd read that classical music may help to calm them. I turned the radio on at 2pm in the afternoon, hoping it would last until midnight, the wind was howling and the rain battering the roof. Went to bed around 11pm,classic FM still playing. I'm being completely honest, we turned the radio off for a re-charge at 7am the following morning. That's 17 hours. I was amazed. No problem at all in recommending this little radio. Enjoy! Update: We continue to love this radio and we'll be ordering another one or two. Consistently lasting 20hrs on a single charge, but we've no idea how long the battery actually lasts as it's not yet run out on us. I may have been lucky with this one but what a great buy!

This is a solid little radio which produces good sound, and can go quite loud (with a bit of distortion creeping in). The main body measures approximately 178 x 90 x 47mm, with a 45cm antenna. The instruction book is fairly clear. I came a bit unstuck on storing stations, but if any operation gives trouble, try a long press then short press on a particular button to see if it makes a difference. The radio will operate at low to moderate volume for over 12 hours. Recharging with the included 5 volt USB charging cable takes about 3 hours at 1.0 amps from empty to full (indicator light on reverse changes from red, to blue when fully charged). There is the option to set the time manually, by reference to FM, or by reference to DAB. I find FM gives the most accurate result. If switched off during charging, the clock seems to lose several hours, but resets quickly once I tune in on FM. The build is sturdy, but there's a bit of play in the antenna hinge and in the selection knob. Stations are generally clear, especially on DAB. In my opinion, 4 stars.

I'm very happy with this little radio. I bought it to use when away in my caravan and it is just the job. It's easy to tune in and set up your presets. Battery life seems good and it is really handy that you can charge it up with a USB port. Volume and sound quality is what I expected from a radio this size and it has a good quality telescopic aerial. At the price that I paid for this, it is an absolute bargain.

Delighted with this radio. Easy set-up, good sound quality for a small unit, and very adequate volume without distortion, clear display with automatic date and time. The power connection clinches it for me - a USB cable but with a 5mm round plug device connection, much more robust than micro-USB, and with the option of using a cheap 5v mains adapter. I wish I had found this years ago.

This radio was a disappointment when it arrived as it felt much cheaper than I expected. The buttons made quite a lot of noise when they were pressed. The earphone socket was very tight and felt like it would eventually break after a couple of months. However it never got a chance to because the radio itself broke after less than a week. One morning I pressed the power button on and the display came up with "fm" (it seems a strange design decision to combine the power button with the mode, i.e. DAB or FM) and there was no way to change this to DAB or indeed to power the radio off. I tried recharging the radio overnight but that made no difference. Another thing I didn't like in the brief time I spent with this radio was the charge indicator. It was supposed to be red for charging and blue for fully charged. However when viewed from above you could see both colours and if you turned the radio to look at the charge indicator straight on, it would change to red if it had been blue beforehand! And another thing... I had to turn the volume very high to make it loud enough to hear. On other radios the volume has been on 50% or lower most of the time, but this one needed to be about 90% just for day-to-day listening. There's no way it would have been high enough for, say, playing to a group of people outside.

I bought this to use in the garden and have ended up taking it to different rooms in the house as well. For the price it is a great radio, it gets all the DAB stations I wanted and the sound quality is good for its size. The battery is still going after its first charge so to comment to battery life would be unfair at this time. It took a couple of tries to get the hang of changing stations but it's very easy.

This was a replacement for an older Sony model that went ftzz. It took awhile to work out how the buttons worked, even after reading the guide. I only managed to turn it off completely after about a week by pressing a button twice, after waiting! It recalls the last station etc. well, and the battery life seems pretty good, and although I use it in our kitchen once or twice a day for about an hour, I've only recharged it twice in a few months. The sound quality is surprisingly solid, even on full volume. The small station display is hard to read unless it’s angled at you, but I only use a couple of BBC stations, so not a problem. If you want to see what’s playing, depending on where the display has scrolled to, you might need to wait a bit for it to show the info you need. Happy with it, after using it daily - getting used to the unintuitive buttons means I they no longer confuse me like they did at first. Solid design and manufacture, very economically priced and works very well.

Pour sa petite taille cette radio a un son très correct. Dix présélections en DAB et également dix en FM. Fonctionne sur la batterie rechargeable incorporée ou sur une alimentation par un chargeur USB non fourni (le câble est uniquement fourni). Grâce au DAB je peux écouter dans ma zone de nouvelles stations de radio. Il est à noter que, en règle générale, les fréquences DAB sont moins bien reçues que les fréquences FM.

Consegna rapida, la radio si presenta bene, piacevole da vedere. Appena accesa ha fatto in automatico la ricerca delle stazioni dab. il suono , in rapporto al prezzo è decisamente buono, la ho collegata tramite cavo alle casse esterne e sono soddisfatto di come si sente. La durata della batteria supera le otto ore continue di ascolto . Nel complesso il rapporto qualità/prezzo mi sembra molto buono Per chi non vuole spendere cifre eccessive è un prodotto che consiglio

Comoda. Alla prima accensione effettua automaticamente una scansione dele frequenze disponibili e funziona subito bene. Un po' macchinosa la memorizzazione delle stazioni ed il manuale in sola lingua inglese non aiuta. Comoda la regolazione del volume con manopola. Ottima ricezione. Buon suono, considerata la dimensione della radio. Prezzo più che conveniente. Funziona anche in FM. La presa di ricarica non è nello standard degli attuali smartphone, ma c'è il cavetto apposito per la ricarica. Durata degli accumulatori ricaricabili interni buona ma non eccezionale. Ottimo acquisto considerato il costo davvero limitato.

Le maniement est épouvantable la mémorisation est très difficile et le mode d'emploi inexistant et pas en français très dommage pour un appareil qui pourrait être formidable

Radio digitale di buona fattura. Riceve molti canali e ne memorizzare 10, il segnale e' sempre buono e l' audio perfetto. Comodo anche l' ampio display colorato. La uso ormai tutti i giorni e la ricarico ogni 3 giorni.
