Excellent for varnishing transformer coils
It worked great for varnishing the new coil in an induction heater after rewinding. It dries on its own but I put it in the oven anyway. Excellent product, I will buy again.

Messy, tacky stuff that covers well
This stuff is pretty tacky to the touch, and let me tell you it is extremely difficult to clean off of anything it comes in contact with (from clothing to hands to your work surface) so be sure to wear gloves and protect things well when using it. Does not smell as bad as people claim in the reviews. Kind of like a mild nail polish. Coverage is pretty good. It could be thinned (as they even recommend) to be sure that it gets down into the windings better, but for the purposes of a simple restoration it works fine. The brushes they give you to apply it are pretty garbage though - pick up some better brushes made for oil-based paint. One thing I wish it had was instructions or directions along with it. They provide a small pamphlet with danger warnings, and the bottle itself again has warnings, but there are no instructions anywhere to be found. I had to return to this listing just to find the recommended cure time and information about application. They recommend going to the manufacturer's website for this info as well, but this should absolutely be included with the product itself.

Works for stator insulation
I used this to insulate my rebuilt stator for my motorcycle and works perfectly.

Quality coating.
Wish brush was mounted in lid. Lid has a pesky child safe feature you gotta really push to open...I jb them back to normal. Coating is more for coils than PCB. Might make PCB a little too hot.

Works as advertised
Used for locking trimmers, adjustment, and mounting screws does a good job and holds well when cured.

Used on a electrially leaky distributor cap.
NIce stuff. I used this on a 5 cylinder, homemade, fiber distributor cap on a one-off handmade 5 cylinder radial outboard motor that hadn't run in over 30 years. It appeared there was some high voltage leakage from the center electrode to the 5 electrodes to the spark plugs so I sanded the carbon traces and coated the entire cap with this stuff. It worked.
