L'Oreal Paris Preference Hair Dye, Permanent Hair Colour, 4.15 Caracas

For years I've been dying my hair, don't tell anyone its a secret! So I've used my fair share of hair dyes. 'I've never strayed far from L'Oreal they consistently deliver and haven't failed me yet. So imagine my surprise to ( so late in the day) discover this range from them. This is a hair dye, unlike the others. It gives your hair a real kick in the color department! The dye you apply seems deeper and richer in color and the gloss as the color develops is quite something. Following the instructions to the letter means you will get the very best out of this product. Once I had rinsed off and followed with the conditioner just WOW, the super shine! The gloss, the soft silky feeling is gorgeous but the color is intense and multifaceted as you move in the light. This goes beyond value for money which by the way is well worth it ( excuse the pun! ) as you get a conditioning treatment for six weeks and two applications of color entender in! Amazing hair dye. xx

Superb product. I've used probably 50 different dies in my time (yes yes, it's more of a haystack now) and this is up there with the best. Fab quantity (I have longish hay strands and still had surplus left after doing a full stack), mixed easily, not at all runny, loved that you add the oil so you see this go in for protection, no chemical smell at all, didn't die my scalp, rinsed off easily. Wow - that's a lot of pro's! The only negative is the stupid gloves - why do they assume only size 8s die their hair? I ripped both gloves putting them on and fingers only got a third of the way down the corresponding strips - which made application difficult. That aside, its fab and I will just buy some latex gloves for next time.

This is a great colour. My hair was ginger with my natural dirty blonde roots growing through, so considering all the different tones in my hair, it all got covered pretty easily! My only critique is that it has gotten quite light over the past couple of weeks, but that could be down to the fact that my hair colour underneath was a mixture of colours. Will buy again when my roots start coming through!

My favourite hair dye. A bit pricey but I love the colour. I really like that the colourant is a liquid so I don't have to squeeze from one to another, just pour. The conditioner is a decent amount too.

Good but why did I have, in packet, navy food dye? No Loreal oil capsules though. Very weird!

Lovely colour. Makes hair really soft. Very simple to use and the extra colour conditioner that tints is a great idea. I normally have white blonde hair but wanted something more drastic to help distract from a recent facial scar. This did the trick, people were only talking about my hair. I purchased more of this colour.
