**Q: I need a tape that will hold a painted decorative plaster vent cover to a ceramic tile wall in my bathroom?**
A: Hi, 

I have used this tape to attach my silver microwave cover/holding to the glass door. It’s worked a treat so  not sure how much your vent weighs but I think it would be fine.

It will definitely stick to both materials so yes I think it should be okay.

A: Can't answer that as I've not done it. I used it on a car door sil trim, (Aluminium to plastic) it is awesome stuff. Very strong.

A: It would be best if you sealed the foam with a varnish or similar.
4941 should be fine.
