This stove is impressive in more ways than one. It is heavy and that’s a good thing. It won’t warp like the thinner gauge sheet metal from lesser quality stoves. The chimney is tall enough that it clears the top of my 16ft bell tent (see pictures). However, you will need to purchase a separate kit to attach to the included spark arrester other wise the chimney will sway in the wind. Depending on your hot tent setup, you might also want to consider some form of baffle or heat shield to protect the stove jack and tent from the hot chimney. It’s not necessary, but I personally prefer that extra bit of fire protection. Now to the stove; it’s heavy, but that is directly related to the quality. The steel construction is impeccable and all the moving parts have a tight tolerance (more on that later). The included bag is smartly designed with bilateral zippers to make it easy to place the heavy stove within. The unit has handles welded onto the top that stick out of the top of the bag. The unit puts out a lot of heat, but one draw back is the size of wood that will fit. 12 inches (30cm) is the maximum length of wood this stove will take, so take that into consideration when packing for camp. The unit also boasts multiple vents that help with airflow, keeping the window clear, and for secondary burning. You wouldn’t expect to have that much adjustability, but it’s in there. Those adjustments are negatively affected by the tight tolerances of this stove. When the stoves come up to temp, it will be difficult to adjust the vent controls, but all you need to do is tap on the levers with the included control arm and you’re go to go. The last feature of note is the ash pan. It is a welcomed function to the fireplace. Which is where I would suggest adding a fireproof blanket under the stove. Fire protection is super important as to not melt your tent floor (if you have one). It also helps keep any random coals from doing damage as well. Overall, this is a fantastic stove with great build quality.

Huge fan of all Pomoly products. Excellent addition to my hot tent camping gear, Been researching which one I wanted for a while got to test it out shortly after receiving works like a dream. State comfy and comfortable in the snow all weekend.

The stove itself is very efficient and burns well. Dry wood burns completely and minimal ash is left in the box/clean out. The stove puts off a great deal of heat and can be easily controlled with all the adjustments. One negative is when the stove is hot there is some expansion in the hinge/latch that holds the door shut. It can be difficult to open at it wants to hang up. Not a deal breaker but something to be aware of so you don't bend anything out of alignment.

You won’t be disappointed! These stoves work great. Tons of heat and the burn extremely efficient.

Great quality stove, it burns really efficiently. You can choke it down and get a really slow flame. Throws lots of heat and heck, who doesn’t like watching the fire with that big front window. Get it.

Outlet pipe to small to work properly. adjustable smoke vent???? on door designed to pump smoke into your tent at all times. Im flying to China to make a things a right, Cost to much weld its a $600 loss. It could make a cool coffee table after sanding and cleaning.I will buy a new one made locally

Lots of heat with no smoke, set it up in our gazebo with the roof cap. It's the perfect size for our 12ft by 12ft gazebo and so much healthier not inhaling all that smoke. Heats it up and you can still enjoy the crackling fire 🔥

The spark arrestor is the wrong size; it's too small. The chimney diameter changes, and the spark arrestor is the same diameter as the chimney's opening, not the wider end.
