not suitable for 12V motors
I bought this to work with a large capacity 50Ah, 5V battery pack to drive a 12V pump (0.8A rating), but it failed to start the motor, the initial surge in starting the motor causes the device to drop the 12V down to almost zero simply unable to handle the motor inrush. Clearly states on the device 5V to 11V input 12V out at 2A but not with an inductive load, probably only resistive loads will work.

Message for Chris in the US etc - CAUTION, NON ISOLATED GROUND !
These appear to do what they say - however Chris' misfortune answered my question DC Converters in this form factor tend to be isolating - these AREN'T - they're straight boost converters, meaning the 2 black wires are JOINED INTERNALLY So if you're reading this Chris do NOT use these for positive-ground vehicles!

didnt work for me
used to increase voltage to a 12volt fan didn't work caused system issues and made the product installed on start to glitch so removed would not recommend

Can’t handle more than 2 amp which it is rated for. It would be nice if it could handle 3 amp since it is a large package
