I needed a soldering iron that has a tiny tip that works for small pitch SMD parts, like 0.4mm pitch connectors or 0201 resistors. Also I didn't want one with a huge handle because it would be hard to articulate the tip into small places on our PCBs. Furthermore I do work in the USA and also travel to China so I need it to support 120V and 220V without a converter, which appears to be quite rare among the irons on Amazon. This iron checks all these boxes. The tip is super tiny yet can get very hot if needed, and the handle is like a pencil. I really like the fact it turns off the heat when you put it back in the stand so it doesn't just sit there burning away your tip. When you take the handle out of the stand, the tip heats up very quickly and is already at temperature by the time you get to your workpiece. The tips are easy to switch out and it comes with a blade tip for larger components if need be. This is so much better than the Weller it replaced for less than half the cost. I recommend it.

Faltan y muy peligroso, la verdad compré este Kit de soldadura esperando algo para realizar pequeñas soldaduras y cambios simples de componentes, pero mi primer problema es la pantalla que no marca bien las temperaturas y no se regulan correctamente y a veces inclusive le cuesta a la estación de soldadura reconocer el cautín.No quería escribir una reseña de inmediato porque quería primero mirar si el producto sería como mínimo duradero (cabe aclarar que hoy es apenas la 5th vez que lo utilizo y para nada fueron secciones largas, a lo mucho 10 minutos cambiando un microcomponente)Pero hoy apenas trato de conectar al cautín el mismo problema, cuesta que lo reconozca, bueno algo que yo en lo personal puedo tolerar. Pero la verdadera razón para darle una estrella (Si pudiera no le doy ni una estrella) y no recomendarlo a nadie es lo que me pasó hoy. Que NO teniendo encendido el alimentador de corriente para cautín el mismo se puso al rojo vivo. Adjunto video para que se entienda mejor de lo que hablo.En conclusión no lo compren, no dura nada, es de mala calidad y altamente peligroso, ha este paso ya me asusta que le explote algún condensador o algo a la máquina.

Used it numerous times now, a very good tool for its price. I like that it uses common soldering tip size.It heats up instantly and i love to see how it senses the heat escaping from the iron lolOverall, 5/5.

Initially I rated at 5 starts but dropped to 3 once I realized the lake of post sale support from the manufacturer.The product itself works but there is zero support from the manufacturer is none. No web site, forums, or contact info to ask questions, not replaceable consumable (e.g. that tip cleaning brush with a hole in the center), and my question here was not answered.I understand that this is a cheap Chinese product but the lifetime of a soldering station should be many years and basic support and consumable is reasonable to expect.

I have been using it for about a year. Good for SMD work. Precision temperature control. Fast heat up.Very good price.I have a professional JBC soldering station - this is not a JBC, but works very well.

The station and iron work as expected, however the iron itself doesn’t seem built like it will last as long as the name branded version. But happy with my purchase
