**Q: This doest fit the elgato wave 3? Why not? I assumed the "adapter" could be removed but its not budging? Meaning its not an adapter at all?**
A: The Elgato Wave 3 comes with a 5/8" female to 1/4" male boom arm adapter. With it, your mic will be compatible with the mic stand's thread size.
1) Unscrew the Wave desktop stand from the Wave microphone.
2) Screw on Boom Arm Adapter to the microphone arm.
3) Screw U-mount and your Wave microphone to the microphone arm.

**Q: Does this work with the fifine k688?**
A: The thread hole size of K688 shock mount is 5/8", which is compatible with the mic stand's thread size. But you may need to check if your K688 shock mount is preinstalled with a 5/8" to 3/8" adapter. If that's the case, you must unscrew the preinstalled adapter before connecting the boom arm to K688.

**Q: Does this work with the Blue Yeti Nano??**
A: The stand can work with your Blue Yeti Nano if you have kept the 5/8" female to 1/4" male adapter coming with the mic. Please note that the stand does not come with this adapter , which is necessary to fit the Blue Yeti Nano microphone.

I've been using my SHURE microphone on a desktop stand, it was staking up desk space and was constantly in the way. Since my desk also doubles as my podcast studio, I needed something that would get the microphone out of the way without making it harder to record. This boom arm was easy to install, and attaching my microphone took just a few minutes. I especially like the built-in cable management, which keeps the USB cable neat and out of the way instead of hanging from the boom. When I'm recording, I can pull the mic right where I need it for great sound. When I'm done, it swings completely out of the way so I have my desk back. The arm moves smoothly, is easy to adjust, and stays put. For the quality and functionality, I think this is a great value for the money. If you're looking for a sturdy, affordable boom arm that keeps your microphone handy without taking over your desk, I'd definitely recommend it.
