Excellent product. Works great! Needed food grade for water faucets and water softener system seals. I would have like to have found this when I was an active scuba diver.

I had about half a dozen of the mini containers sitting around my house, for different uses, and all of them mostly empty. This big bottle allowed me to refill all of the mini containers, plus provide enough surplus to tackle big and small jobs. The quality of the grease is high, and it will work well for cameras, SCUBA gear, O-Rings, faucets, toilet gaskets, automotive wires, and more.

I bought this to solve an issue I was having with my water distiller. After each cycle, the gasket between the head unit and the boiling pot would stick and be very difficult to separate. My thought was that a little lubrication might solve the problem, but since I’m drinking the distilled water, I wanted something food safe. If I’m going through the trouble of distilling water, it doesn’t make much sense to introduce a non food safe product. I remembered using food grade silicone grease in the past for SCUBA diving O rings, so I looked for something similar that was NSF H-1 rated and safe for incidental food contact. This is what I ended up with. It worked exactly like I hoped. After applying a small amount to the gasket, the parts separate easily with no sticking. Since then, I’ve found a few other uses for it as well, things like blender seals, water filter components, and even refrigerator door seals. Pros: Food grade and safe for incidental contact Works well on gaskets and seals Water resistant and long lasting Useful for multiple household applications Cons: None in my experience Bottom line: If you need a food safe lubricant for seals or O rings, this works great. I would recommend it and will buy it again.

This stuff is great! I got it for my Fluval FX-6 (Aquarium Filter), and it works wonders! I use it to lubricate the quick-disconnect O-rings and motor-housing O-rings, and it solved all the issues with leaking (due to the seals being dry and rolling). It’s overall a solid lubricant! It’s nice and thick on the applicator, and the bottle is so big that it’ll basically last me forever at the pace I’m using it. I definitely recommend this to fellow aquarists and to anyone who needs a safe lube for anything aquarium-related.

Nothing wrong with the product; it is what it is. Just be aware that it's only 1oz. The tube size is a little misleading because it's not completely full. So be sure 1 oz is enough for your job. My experience: 1 oz was just barely enough to dress the large (16" diameter) o-ring on my pond filter..

I use this to lube the o-ring on my whole house water filter. It works great. It seems to be a high quality lubricant that lasts well between filter changes and I've had no issues with leaks. I do think for the small amount I use and the frequency of filter changes that the 2 tube pack might last me a decade.

This is an excellent lubricant for multiple uses. I have a Moen kitchen sink faucet which since new had a problem where a couple of months after purchasing new and installing the faucet didn't swing freely from side to side. I took the faucet apart and used the Moen silicone lubricant to lubricate the O rings which worked and making the faucet swing easily from side to side but only for about 2 to 3 weeks. I called Moen and asked for some more silicone lubricant and they sent me an entire new faucet. This silicone grease is more viscous (thicker) than the Moen lubricant and works great and keeps the faucet swinging freely a lot longer. Since the water coming through the faucet could come in contact with a little of the lubricant I wanted a food grade lubricant for safety reasons. I also put a little of this lubricant in some old bathroom vanity drawer slides and the drawers now slide much quieter and smoothly than before. I had previously used a spray silicone lubricant which did little.
