I was fortunate to attend a one-day session with Dr. Segars a few months ago and received a preview of the book’s content. Dr. Segars is a great speaker and I wondered if the book would be as good. The answer is absolutely. The presentation of the seven principles of innovation works for leaders at all levels of experience and creativity! This is a great read that teaches as well as entertains. If you are motivated to reach for the stars, this book is for you!

I listened to Dr. Segars speak at the Duke Hotel this past April where he shared some of his innovative-creating insights also found in his new book, The Idea Chase. Regardless of your level of managerial experience, project management exposure, or general brainstorming know-how, this book will improve your capability for innovative and disruptive idea management. Although highly effective, the principles he describes are yet very simple.

Dr. Segars does not disappoint! Awesome nuggets throughout this phenomenal book. Thank you for sharing your insights/experiences.
