It holds a seat securely as well, something my old seat post never really got the hang of.Only quibble is that I'm looking at buying a brooks saddle, and the fact that the two bolts holding the seat on are exposed and could be easily turned with vice grips doesn't really set my mind at ease. You can glue ball bearings in, but there isn't really any way to stop them gripping the outside.But for more sensible saddles, I can't see this going wrong, unless you need a very short, light seat post because this is neither of those things really. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to set up. *by P***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 November 2015* Fitted this to my old steel cross bike.
