Dolomiten Inox DELUXE MAGNETIC KNIFE RACK 62CM (24") LONG. HEAVY DUTY COMMERCIAL GRADE

This arrived in only two days, a very speedy service. It was very well packaged. The rack itself is heavier than I expected, but very, very, sturdy. The three fixings have made it easy to put up on the wall, and it is very secure Having now put eighteen (18) knives on it, it looks great, keeps my knives in order (and handy) and makes the look of the kitchen far more professional. If you're looking for a quality knife rack, this is the one. I thoroughly recommend it.

I think this would have been just what I wanted, nice and strong looking and not looking like a piece of junk, but 2 of the metal strips were loose in the black form, so it was no good to me at all; could be dangerous if pulling out a knife made other fall off the holder.

Like it! There were some less favourable reviews so I was a bit hesitant about buying....however, took the plunge and must say was very pleased when it arrived - appears well made and the magnets hold the knives very well. Also comes with two sets of fixings which did the job (even if the screws seem a liitle cheap - had to be carefully not to mess up the heads of them). Overall top notch product!

Good length but cannot cope with the weight of all types of knives.

Excellent length and magnetic power. Holds firmly knifes and other kitchen tools on the wall so they always ready for usage without taking valuable space elsewhere. Update 19 Dec 2019: Rust began to appear on the front surfaces of the magnet strips. I have changed the rating from 5 to 4 stars

I had just bought two bamboo mag racks as I wanted the handles down so my wife could reach them, i attached them to the wall placed a knife on it and it slid straight off, the magnets in the bamboo racks would not hold even my 3inch trimer, So I bought two DELUXE MAG RACKS but before fixing to the wall I placed my 12" scimitar on one end and swung it around and it stayed put, they are now fixed to the wall with all 18 of my pro cooks knives attached handles down and looking good, SG.

My main concern when looking at knife racks was the size. What is the point of a rack if you can't get all your knives on it and you still have knives lying around in drawers/in blocks? This rack is a good size, I have got all my knives on it, plus kitchen shears and sharpening steels. It is functional looking and the magnets are a good strength. Probably not the prettiest rack compared to the stainless or wood-looking ones, but it is big enough to do the job right.

If you have cheap knives with wide blades and lightweight plastic handles this "deluxe 62cm" product might work. But if you want to hold anything of any weight it's useless and certainly not a premium product. I bought it because an earlier review said it was worth paying a lot extra for a high quality product - usually a good approach. But I have other much cheaper racks in my workshop - which still look neat and tidy - with much stronger magnets and which hold heavy chisels, files and screwdrivers; this product wouldn't even begin to cope. It's described as a "HEAVY DUTY COMMERCIAL QUALITY MAGNETIC KNIFE RACK" but it's not in any way heavy duty. Compared with the wide choice of other racks it's horribly over-priced. It is, however, 62cm long and it does come with 3 screws.
